"What Are You Doing Here?"

Fanart based on the prologue of Steelheart. Done in Photoshop and SAI.

In the story, Steelheart bursts into the bank, and starts threatening the other Epic, Deathpoint. I liked the dramatic image presented by Steelheart's statuesque frame intimidating the much-smaller Deathpoint. When the viewpoint character, David, describes Deathpoint's sunglasses clattering to the floor, I knew I wanted to try to capture that tension by framing the image in the reflection of the lenses as they lay in a pile of one of the victim's ashes.
