Steelheart

Natalia Belikov

Medium: Pencil HB, 2B, 6B and watercolor on bristol, 11" x 14".

Fanart inspired by the following scene of Steelheart's prologue:

"My father reached out, a quivering hand touching my chin. He said something else, but I still couldn’t hear him.

I wiped my eyes with my sleeve, then tried to pull his arm to get him to stand up and come with me. The entire building was shaking.

My father grabbed my shoulder, and I looked at him, tears in my eyes. He spoke a single word— one I could make out from the movement of his lips.

“Go.”"

It was so hard to choose one specific moment from the prologue since it's entirely so awesome! But finally I decided for this emotionally charged scene that totally broke my heart.
