Splintercast Reads Words of Radiance is back, and every chapter here is fifteen minutes long, or longer! Is it a special event? Of course it is! It's our gift to you, our loyal listeners. (No it isn't; that's just how it happened. I mean, shush, it is a gift obviously.)

Been a lurker for a while. Mostly I hang out on the Stormblessed forums, but I decided to create an account because as I sit here listening to these audio clips, this is all I can think of. lol

All-nighters can be fun, but they get harder as you get older. Make sure you have good munchies ready before you pull another one. Oh what is "Scroungers"?

*looks up to the heavens* Thank you, Harmony for this beautiful day. *looks back to Eveorjoy with a terrifying grin*

(Look, someone made me a gif.)

So, for those of you who have been listening to these, you might realize I talk about Sydney Scrougners all the time. All the time. At it's most basic: Sydney Scroungers is a story that I write with a group of five other people and it's amazing and I'm obsessed with it and never shut up and devote LOTS of time and effort into convincing everyone that they should read the story.

More specifically, it's an RP group, using the FATE Core system, set in the Pacific Rim universe a few years before the movie takes place. The genre's pretty different from PR though. More of a Leverage-meets-Firefly-style group of five criminals and mischief-makers running heists and undercover jobs in the area around the Sydney Shatterdome circa 2021.

I play three characters, Sylvie Mansen, an AI programmer on the run from the PPDC after she well, broke into a Jaeger and then almost destroyed it, as well as her two AIs, fiVe and Vee. You'll hear me talking about the other characters in Splintercast too: Miranda, Katie, Seiko, and Eleanor.

If that sounds interesting (and you should be interested because it REALLY is fanastic) there's two places you can check it out: on my tumblr, which is probably the most complete place, but might be a little difficult to navigate, or over on Archive of Our Own, which is a bit more reader-friendly.

If you end up checking it out, you should DEFINITELY send me a message, and you will also probably become one of my favorite people ever.

It was nice to hear you sound out my exact thought process on Hoid's name in the Horneater religion. Made me feel less insane. Or at least less alone in my insanity. :)

That squeel... As always, these are hilarious.

Also Code Lyoko is a fantastic show, I should really re-watch it...

I'm trying guys. It's the end of the semester, I'm getting swamped, and editing these takes time. I'm sorry that you guys have to wait sometimes, but editing 3 episodes a day on top of work and school and writing is... well, not always feasible. Bear with me, okay? Trust me, I'm not letting this project go, but it might be a little bit slower than originally planned and I'm sorry about that.

Also, my computer's being glitchy and is trying to delete parts of the files, so these may be a little strange sounding.

No worries, Feather. School comes first. :)

(Also, apparently this is computer flu season, because my computer's been glitching out on me, too. Here's hoping they both calm down soon.)

That's alright, Feather - just take it as a compliment to how much we enjoy listening to your reactions to the book we all love

With all the disappointment over how well Shallan and Adolin get along, and the general lack of Shallarin ship fodder, I keep wondering, "does Feather not realize this is an arranged marriage in a Brandon Sanderson story, and is therefore contractually required that they end up being absolutely perfect for one another?"  (See also: Sarene and Raoden in Elantris, Siri and Susebron in Warbreaker...)

Also:

"You know what an axe is, but do you know what a hound is?"

"Nope, never hoid of such a thing!"
