  1. Thank you! I didn't notice that Glys was male.
  2. Is there a given reason (or counter example) for why the human and spren bonded seem to be apparently opposite genders? I never noticed this until my third listen of SA awaiting the release of Oathbringer.
  3. Updated pic. The Painting Guardian armor would be better, but this works.
  4. I have nowhere near completed the build of this, but I thought Zseth from The Stormlight Archive would be a fun in game roleplay. I got a sword today after a certain boss that seems to fit the shardblade picture in my head, so I figured I'd post some shots. So far, that is the whitest set of cloths I have, but he does have the largest eyes I could make. As an aside, I dueled (and lost to) a player named Lightsong the other day, so summoning now includes world-hopping.
  5. New to the forum? You get a cookie! Congratulations, you've been spiked. Everyone on the Introduce Yourself page has had this experience. My question is, where did this start?
  6. I decided (after many of my friends calmed that books were better than movies) to start listening to Audiobooks. I listened to the LotR trilogy, then some Elder Scrolls novels. I bought all of those on audible.com and was out of ideas of what to "read" next. One of the suggestions was WoK. I picked it up and was hooked. For the last 3 years, books by Brandon are the only audiobooks that I've listened to (except the WoT books that were written by Robert Jordan).
  7. With DS III coming out soon, I'm curious if any here have based their characters in any of the Souls games around any of Brandon's characters and maybe even a but about the builds that you've used (specifically, any of the characters from Mistborn or The Stormlight Archive, since those are my favorite of his seris that I've read). I play mostly offensive magic characters in videogames, but things like soul arrow don't seem very analogous to lashings or alomantic abilities. Also, yes, I realize there's not really a question in there. :-)
  8. I've noticed from other threads that the cookies tend to be hemalurgic spikes. That does not sound tasty.
  9. Hello all. I plan on "wasting" a good chunk of time here in the future. Firstly, I listen to audiobooks, so I apologize if I don't take the time to spellcheck names before I spell them incorrectly. :-) Also, Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are amazing narrators. My first Sanderson book was TWoK, then TWoR. After that I heard about this Cosmere thing and was enamored. I then found out about the wheel of time because of Sanderson's work on the final books (which I realize is a reverse of the cause and effect for many). I've since listed to Elantris, The Emporor's Soul, Warbreaker, and more recently, The original Mistborn trilogy and The Alloy Of Law and Shadows of Self. With getting The Bands of Mourning today, I figured that it's about time I join my people. Rust and Ruin, it took me long enough.
