Kit

"NOOOOOO!!!! THEY'VE FOUND US!",Kit shrieks, diving for cover behind the nearest bookshelf. She begins to barricade herself with any and all objects within reach. After completing her not so sound proof fort, she curls into a ball and begins to sing to herself, "Something has changed within me, Something is not the same, I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game, too late for second guesses, too late to go back to sleep, it's time to trust my instincts, close my eyes, and leeeeaaaap...." At this she springs from her self prescribed confinement and musically screams," IT'S TIME TO TRYYYY DEFYYYING GRAVITY!!!" she draws a few strange and ancient looking symbols in the air before rising a few feet in the air and then disappearing entirely.

Kit pops out from behind a random bookshelf. She watches as a wild Root Beer suddenly appears in Carola's hand. She inquires,"Hey does that trick work for Ginger Ale too?"

"Right you are." Replied Kit. "But she also used the word "I'd" meaning I would. So I do believe that she still has a chance to retract her statement."

Kit takes notice of the small commotion and adds "I'm no Referencecaller, but I would like to point out that while Sunbird offered her big toe, Chasmfiend has not accepted the bet."

Kit peeks out from behind her well fortified fort in time to see Al enact this strange ceremony. In the slightly confused silence that follows, she tentatively slips out from her hiding place and scampers over to where he still lies, not moving. Leaning down she asks, "Are you alive?"

In response to recent events, Kit treats herself to relaxing solitary confinement in an inconspicuous corner where she has built a bean bag fort. She knows that here, she will be safe from whatever this dancing thing is.

"We really must do something about these things." Kit says, as she glares at a particular pest making its way slowly and not at all sneakily towards her and her bookie.

"Thanks!" Kit grins appreciatively at Mistrunner while taking a Vin bookie.

Kit listens attentively to Sunbird's explanation. Smiling, she replies," I see. Well I look forward to trying one!"

Kit recieves the plate and looks inquisitively at its contents,"What are these exac-" Kit is rudely cut off by a flying weasel, who devours the bookies in a single bite and scampers back into the shadows.

Kit smiles warmly,"Perhaps..." She paused, a feeling of recognition dawning on her as well.

Kit treads lightly into the room. Pausing to survey her surroundings with a well-practiced look of indifference, she sighs and flops onto one of the many bean bags that have made their home on the ground nearest her. "I sense food, books, and a general sense of awkward comradery here. Might I stay?" Books before friends. 17th Shard before the real world. Release dates before birthdays.
