  1. Found the following, which may be of use: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99n-Xtm0AG7WEVvVjhJcElNVWM/view Note: That one dramatically reduced the usefulness of shardblades in the name of balance and actually being able to use the class without breaking everything. https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Feruchemist_(5e_Class) The only thing the above class is missing is rules for multiclassing as a Mistborn... perhaps create a table of twinborn effects and make a requirement that to multiclass the two together you must use multiple levels to purchase the first level in whichever of the classes you lack. This of course depends on which version of the Mistborn you multiclass with... https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-L6HnFarfCY4U15c1t39 Alternate flavor of Mistborn https://imgur.com/gallery/6o10SPn Hemalurgy as a blessing from a diety
  2. A good one. I don't know if anyone will see this, but there are more options for Mistborn classes. I rather like this one, because it gives more options and is more complex without compromising its ability to fit into fifth edition D&D, but it's very rules heavy and requires a bit more choice than the one you mentioned. An alternate form of the class I linked to, with slightly different wording that some may enjoy better, is found here.
  3. I think having a massive number of breaths is best. Certainly better than being a Returned, because they take up a breath each day, and if you find yourself somewhere where Investiture (like Stormlight or Breaths) is unobtainable, you'd sooner or later run out of breath. Also, Comatose, Atium compounding has a limit. Even if you use duralumin as well, you'll eventually use up so much use to stay young that you won't have any left to compound. You'll live an awfully long time, but when Vin killed the Lord Ruler, Sazed said that the Lord Ruler would have died soon anyway due to this, and he's probably right.
  4. Crap. I've never seen Sharknado, but now I'm imagining that movie applied to the Stormlight archive. The hideousness...
  5. The Investiture would not dissapear, as the Cosmere runs on real physics (or, at least is based on it.) It would probably just convert to some other form or just leave the sphere. However, I believe that just like energy, once it is converted to certain forms it is impossible to change back, thus destroying its usefulness, and then it might as well have been destroyed. And now, to justify my post: Store a lot of health in a brick of gold and then soulcast it into a stick. Then, burn it. (What happens to the health if I do that?)
  6. Hellooooo 17th Shard! Lately, when I hear certain songs, I can't help but think of characters from Cosmere books. For instance: Royals is definitely Vin's theme in my mind. For Kaladin, it's either Immortals, Centuries or several Imagine Dragons songs. They all fit. Vasher has a classical music theme, like 'Ride of the Valkyries' or something awesome like that. So, what songs do you guys think would make the best character themes? I would love to hear it.
  7. My method is a little hard, but also kinda funny. Awaken their mistcloak and command it to strangle them. Escape this with atium, fool!
  8. When I read Warbreaker, Susebron was an incredibly old white man, like Dumbledore or something.
  9. Awaken a mistcloak (or anything else you might wear, I just think a mistcloak would be harder to escape with all those ribbons) with the command "Strangle me." Although, this could be adapted to commit mass murder, walk into a crowd wearing a miscloak and command it to strangle things. Imagine the look on their faces.
  10. I imagined Ivory as looking like Snake Eyes as he appears in GI Joe: Renegades.
  11. I wonder, does anything special happen when electricity passes through a metalmind? For instance, could you potentially program a computer using a coppermind?
  12. Yes, well, I mean we would approximate as close as we could. I wonder if Brandon might answer if someone asked him what the Alethi word for the Windrunners is.
  13. I listened to the audiobook, and there, Herdazians have an accent that sounds kinda Australian, so that's how I picture it. Also, I thought for the longest time that Jasnah was spelled Yasnah.
  14. Hey, just a thought, has anyone tried to translate the glyphs of the Knights Radiant? I think it would be amazing to say the name of the Windrunners in their proper Alethi name.
  15. Hmm... This makes me question all the fan art I've seen, along with all the art featured on and in the books. Myself, I initially pictured Shards as being made of a kind of crystal substance, and during WoR, I swear I heard something about it being metal. Also, I can't stop thinking about Stormlight as white, though everyone tells me it's blue.
