  1. Hey guys, So re-read WoR for like, the fifth time today... and I was wondering about Moelach and spren in general. Moelach sounds like a spren that makes people see the future, right? So the same way the stormfather is Syl's father, could Moelach be the parent spren to a truthwatcher, like Glys? Also, I have a general question about parent spren..... it sounds like the more powerful spren establish nahel bonds with bondsmiths only.... is that right? Also, since spren are from the cognitive realm, I'm guessing they are just ideas given form by the humans living on Roshar.... I got that idea from that interlude chapter where they measure spren characteristics, and found that spren can be defined indirectly, after the measurements were stored. So can one argue that the more powerful an idea, the more powerful the spren? Something like the stormfather is what pretty much every human on Roshar visualises highstorms as.... so is my rationale behind spren right? Hence, can one argue that spren can be destroyed when the idea created, like Syl for Honor, is discarded? Is that what happened in the recreance? maybe some spren ('wicked thing of eminence) related to Odium convinced the Knights to abandon their ideals, 'killing' their spren, so to speak? I'm sorry if my questions are all over the place
  2. Oh, I dunno about burning out I read all of his cosmere stuff, and I wanted more, so I read all his non-cosmere stuff too (except firefly)
  3. Well, I've read pretty much all his books, except for Liar (unpublished). About the cosmere, well.... I'm discovering new stuff as I re-read his books. For example, I re-read words of radiance, and I found the part where hoid mentions perfect pitch. I'd read Warbreaker by that point, and I was blown away when I found he had reached second heightening! until then I knew he was in warbreaker, but not that he could carry over investiture to other shard worlds. Oh, and I know about the history (rough) of the cosmere, from the stormlight wiki. So yeah, it's ongoing
  4. Hi everyone! My name's Vishal, I'm an Electrical Engineering grad at the university of minnesota. I'm really glad I found this place. I discovered Brandon after reading the last 3 WoT books, and I was pretty impressed! So far, I've read almost all his books, and I'm really fascinated by the universe he's creating. I've never been so filled with questions after reading any book, and I'm hoping this place can help me find answers!
