  1. Luckat said this at the end of yesterdays day phase: There's not much time left, but I have something to add. Phatt gave me his seeking results from the second night, and they included hemalurgic allomantic bronze. I asked my Kandra contact, and it wasn't due to a Kandra, so there must have been a spiked seeker. Earlier in the game, Winter told me she was in contact with a seeker besides Phatt and that they had given her some results from the first night. I thought it was a little odd that they would trust her like that, especially when those results included that there had been both hemalurgic and nonhemalurgic versions of her feruchemical power active. When I learned there was a spiked seeker who had been in the Town Square during the second night, I decided to ask Winter about the seeker she had been in contact with earlier. At first she didn't give me their name, but said she would tell them I wanted to contact them. After a while, I pushed harder and explained why I thought the seeker was spiked. She finally relented and said the seeker was Spencer. I decided to contact Spencer myself, and he said he was not a seeker, had never claimed to be one, and had never been in contact with Winter. He also gave me some good evidence and a contact who confirmed what he said. Badger is a bronze misting, and he, spencer, and I were in a fairly expansive pm since the beginning of the game, so it makes sense that he would work with winter to try to frame someone who 1) was a less experienced player and 2) he had a background with so that he could use true details to make the story more believable. Badger was also in the town square on the second night phase so that he could perform an enhanced bronze scan of the town square and the four connecting caverns. The results of the scan that he shared made little sense: they were only for the central cavern even though he was nicrosil enhanced at the time of the scan. This could have been explained if there had been allomantic copper in use, but that was not one of the reported allomantic metals. Lastly he tried to change the tide of votes against winter both on the main thread, and in the pm with spencer and I. I don't have absolute conformation that he is spiked, but I think there is enough evidence to prove guilt. I led the vote against winter yesterday, so I am not a spiked trying to take down a villager. We need enough people to vote for badger that spiked emotional allomancers cannot change the vote to get one of the villagers lynched.
  2. I vote honey badger. He and I have been pming from the beginning, and he tried to convince me not to vote for winter last round when the vote was close. He also withheld the report of the results of a plan we had made to id the spiked on the second night. These two evidences, combined with some other evidence brought up by spencer have led me to believe he is spiked! Down with the spiked, long live the Twinborn! PS Araris: Clanky is clean. I will vouch for him.
  3. Lev labored forward toward the mouth of the tunnel, hauling his heavy load, but paused while still concealed in the shadows to survey the cavern before him. It was completely empty, all of the the inhabitants of the twinborn village were off in the town square, accusing people that had been neighbors and friends until this "war with the spiked" began. Yes, the spiked were an evil that needed to be eliminated, but there had been little effort to try to root them out until the townspeople had discovered the corpses this morning. The spiked were an evil in the village, but they were NOT the only evil. After one last glance to make sure there were no prying eyes watching, Lev pulled the cloth mask down over his faced and made his way as quickly as possible out of the tunnel mouth toward Acer Tuy's amphibian hatchery. He paused at the side door, pulling the hevy sledge hammer out of his pack. Muttering a silent prayer to the Founders that the noise would not be heard, he slammed the hammer down on the latch, braking it open. Dropping the hammer on the floor, he made his way to the nearest amphibian tanks. The spiked may still be out there, but at least he could do some good today... Just thought I should get into character. I agree, we need to get some serious discussion going today. I am going to vote for Winter Cloud. You were posting at least every couple hours up until the roles got assigned. I don't know if you were trying not to put a target on your back by fading to the background, but I am a little suspicious anytime someone's behavior changes. I am totally willing to change the vote if you have a good reason. Also, I wouldn't be opposed to someone barging in on my amphibian activist.
  4. Sorry I havn't been posting. I am in the last week of school before finals and in the process of being admitted into a new program. I have been trying to figure out the game but won't be tremendously active for the the next few cycles. In other words, please don't lynch me.
  5. Although Fain is dead I vote to continue our plan to rotate who we elect as mayor. Not that I don't trust Wilson, but it will keep any df who gains office from gaining the extra vote for more than one turn. Also thanks to New One for the profile pic.
  6. I cast the killing vote because the opportunity to do so was there. In this game people have to die because, as I stated in my earlier post, inaction just helps the dark friend cause. Yes this turned out to be a false hunch, but I still stand by what I said about making kills. I realize that my actions right before the closing bell cast suspicion on me. While this is my first game of sanderson elimination, I have played hundreds of games of mafia, and I am experienced enough to know this would be the logical conclusion to draw. If I were a dark friend I would have waited to play my hand until it would benefit team evil more. Team evil also knows that it would not take any great effort to get me lynched and so they are most likely behind my dragon fang. (Altho other villagers may have targeted me as well. I know that at least 2 votes for the dragon fang were put on another player, so at least 3 vanillas voted for me. (I also move that we call good villagers vanillas and df villagers chocolates, or is that too racist?) So ≥3 - vanilla votes for me = # of chocolates out there. )
  7. While no one wants to be the first one out of the game, vanilla villagers cannot just sit back and do nothing because they don't want to hurt feelings. Fain and the dark friends are not going to sit idle. Yes there is a chance that we kill one of the good guys, and yes voting for the kill this early on will probably make me a target, but if we do nothing we hurt ourselves even more. My vote is for Gade because he jumped to the defense of Malai when Newan was shaking things up (maybe he is just a good guy), and then backtracked and tried to join the popular crowed when confronted about it.
  8. The warm, mid-morning sunlight that shone down over Drell's Crossing was at odds with the mood that had settled over the once cheery town. Already neighbors had begun to suspect one another and mothers clutched the hands of their children a bit more tightly. Several shouting matches had already erupted at the local inn. Far from the hubbub at the center of town a sturdy, shaggy pony grazed the green grass that grew along the river bank. As the pony tore a thick tuft of grass from the bank the pop of a snapping twig was heard. There was a stick in the mouthful that Bela chewed. It was a stick. It was a stick. It was a stick. It was a stick. Bela ate the stick. Even for a first timer I guess I should have known better than to try to RP with a horse. Oh well, lets have some fun with it.
  9. This will be my first game, but I'm in! My character is Bela, a shaggy mare.
