  1. I thought there was a WoB, theory or a mention in book that Braze/damnation was once the TH. or maybe it was assumed because Odium forced the people out of the TH and he is on Braze now.
  2. I like the idea that Braze was/is Yolen. I dont think it is, but I like it. I think Hoid was part of the reason why Braze is like it is. When talking to Dalinar he said something about being willing to let Roshar burn to get his way. Or something like that. Maybe Hoid already let it burn once and that is why the Tranqualine Halls (TH is Braze maybe) was evacuated. Hoid could be the reason the people on Roshar are there and not in the TH. He needed something and didn't care how.
  3. What will he find at Hearthstone? I know this is just speculation and maybe a bit of fun. Will he find everyone under attack? Will he find that he has a new brother or sister? Maybe his father is dead and Hesina is married to Roshon now. Will he find Tara has gone there looking for him and is staying with his family... With a child? Will everyone be gone, except an old drunk begger, who tells him they fled to Kholinar? If any of these turn out to be correct, I better get an upvote.
  4. I agree Axies isn't a Voidbringer. I would guess that Aimians are partly in the cognitive or spiritual realms all the time so their shadow is cast by a different sun.
  5. My question is about the concept of DNA in the Cosmere. I have seen on the forums the sDNA used as spiritual DNA so I assume BS has discussed DNA at some point. If this is just a 17th Shard thing, please let me know. My question is about the changes to DNA. If a normal Cosmere Human, without powers, acquires a power (like becoming a mistborn with a bead of metal from the well), does that change his DNA in some way? Spiritual, Cognitive or Physical? Would that be the same for each world's magic system? Would a normal cosmere person's DNA change when granted new powers? With someone like Hoid who appears to be gathering powers, would his DNA be changing with each new power? What would he be changing into?
  6. I just saw this post and wanted to jump in. At one point I thought the Unmade were demon like creatures. I don't anymore. In WoR ch 34 it says that the Parshendi "gods were born splinters of a soul of one who seeks to take control. Destroys all land that he beholds with spite, they are his spren, his gift, his price...". I believe the Unmade are beings posessed by Odium's spren. I also think they can pass as normal people/beings on Roshar. (this next part is going to sound a little odd) Prior to Szeth attacking Kal, Adolin and Dalinar; the stormfather, Shalan's and Kal's spren went crazy. As if Odium was approaching. What if there is a connection between the Unmade/Odium and Szeth. I only know of Mr. T the Parshendi and the Heralds at Gavilar's assassination (Nalan and Kalek) who knew of Szeth being an assassin and having the Honorblade. The only Parshendi I think could be influenced by Odium's spren is Eshonai's sister. Could Mr.T or some of the Heralds be Unmade?
  7. The vision with Nohadan was in the early evening and the fight in WoR was during dusk.
  8. Do all of the events in the visions that Dalinar have take place at night or in the dark? I haven't finished a re-listen to WoR yet, but the first vision was during dusk. In WoK I don't know if they all did, but I think so. Please let me know if I am wrong. I was thinking that if they are, then could that mean something about the desolations and Voidbringers and darkness? If the desolations have something to do with the darkness, maybe that is why the plants grow on stormlight and not sunlight. If I am wrong about the visions, then this theory is not for reading.
  9. During a re-listen to WoR, I found two things of interest so far. I need to find the quotes and post them. First, Kal said something about the dead becoming Voidbringers. The second was in the interlude on the Reshi Island. When they saw the blue Aimian and accused him of being a Voidbringer because of his shadow going the wrong way. The first made me wonder if some of the dead could be used by the Voidbringers and I hope, if that is true, that Sadeas will become one. Oh wouldn't that be great fun. The first and second items above made me think that Voidbringers are actually from the cognitive or spiritual realms and cast shadows based on the sun in their normal realm. During the entire re-listen so far, I don't thing the Parshendi are actually Voidbringers. I think they are being used by them just like the other beasts or rocks on Roshar will be used. It seems as if the Spren are the actual Voidbringers or a certain group of Spren are. The last point on this is from the vision Dalinar had in chapter 4 where he was fighting along side a squad and a Knight Radiant and they fought a thunderclast. During the vision Sja-anat was mentioned and said to change Spren on touch. Is Sja-anat an Unmade? Does he create Voidbringers? (do we know if Unmade are Odium's champions?) Any thoughts on Voidbringers?
  10. I agree with you on that. That is why I think the Parshendi have gemhearts.
  11. So. I was doing a re-read of WoK and found something odd. Jasnah calls the Parshendi Voidbringers. Yet some of the descriptions are of large beasts and odd creatures. Here is the crazy theory. What if all of the creatures are one of the forms of Parshendi? There are About 100 forms the Parshendi can take and they dont remeber them all. There are a few parts in the book that I will post later that, kind of, support this. Thoughts?
  12. Any guesses how long she has been 10?
  13. I would only say that your analysis, number 6 speaks of length of time. I think Kal started his bond as a child. When using the staff for the first time he showed signs of the bond's effect. Maybe about the same time as Jasnah and Shallan.
  14. The visions started after Gavilar then Dalinar read WoK, which was written by Nohadon. My main point with the name was that Kholinar has been around for a long time and it got its name from somewhere. It is the same place the Kholin family got the name. I thought it may be from Nohadon.
