Thurin Posted August 3, 2018 Report Share Posted August 3, 2018 I was reading the page on Kandra at the Coppermind wiki and then I saw this: Quote Fulfilling Contracts is their way of "paying for their freedom" to prevent humans from seeking ways to enslave them in other ways and finding out about their weakness to Allomancy. I haven't read HoA in a while (I still have to buy my own copy), but I always thought the main reason that the Kandra worked for atium was to stockpile it in a vault so Ruin was denied acces to a part of his condensed power.
