(OB) Mraize unlocked Fast Travel!

27 posts in this topic

I might be misremembering, but the Maib interlude (I think she is called Maib, she is Mraizes washerwoman), took place in Vedenar. And Mraize was there. So... did he sneak away with the Oathgate, or does he have other means of travel?

This could have to do with his Aviar. Fast travel could play well into his "hunter" mindset.

I mean, no one walks to High Hrothgar or down from it more than once, right? Why would Mraize be different just cause we're calling it Urithiru now?

Come on, that's just silly. Everyone knows High Hrothgar only has one fast travel point, people would have seen him coming and going. Clearly Urithiru is actually Novigrad, and the mountain is metaphorical.

I think the words you are looking for, aementha, are check and mate.

Well if Jasnah is ever secretly following him... "You cannot fast travel when enemies are nearby"

Does he also only do the main questline first?

I think he must do some side quests since he is a member of a guild, but he obviously focuses on main quests since he hasn't progressed them to become guild master yet.

He has to have beaten some bosses at least, considering all the Epic Loot he has: Aviar, Royal Locks, someones hairpins, slippers...

And like any good fetch quest, I bet there were a dozen intermediary items and relics he needed to cart across the Cosmere to trade for the one thing he needed to trade the next guy on the other side of the Cosmere to get what he actually wanted.

Biggorons Sword quest writ large.

No way guys. I don't buy it.

They are all pvp rewards. They aren't very useful in pve cosmere.

EA runs the Cosmere. This is the evil Nightblood was meant to destroy. Down with pay to win!

Luck can't get you everything if it's EA running the universe.

I love how in about 15 posts, Mraize is now a P2W player in Skyrim run by EA that enjoys PvP...

He's a loser who couldn't beat the game himself; wish I had that kind of money to fund my game habit

It kind of got kick-started by the title having "Fast Travel" in it in caps...

This made my day. I literally snorted my chili.

Perhaps Mraize is tired of gazing at his completed Pokédex and has come to Roshar to hunt down the last Words of Power. Won’t he be surprised to hear that quest is bugged and Words of Radiance expansion isn’t compatible.
