Cyanic Posted November 11, 2017 Report Share Posted November 11, 2017 I made this story because I was really inspired by the Cosmere magic systems in general, as well as his lectures at BYU (for some reason). I basically built the magic system first, then built the world around it based on its implications. Summary: The king of Cevan is dead. His body burnt and scorched, the mark of an Ignitran —a Resonator who uses heat. Theban Baris —the eldest prince, and a Resonator himself— comes home to a kingdom nearing chaos: People taken away and friends wrongfully accused.
