Shardblade vs Inquisitor

Well an Inquisitor could die for the Soul cutting like everyone else.

The question have to be, could Bloodmaker's power (if the Inquisitor has it) prevent death by Shardblade ? We know F-Gold could Heal the Soul but probably the amount need to fully prevent death by Shardblade, would be proibitive for most Ferring.

A better question is what would it take for an inquisitor to not die from a Blade cut. Compounding gold is a decent option, but may not be enough under some conditions. As was said, being a regular Ferring probably wouldn't be enough.

Shardplate is really the best option to defend against Blades. Or maybe certain Aons could do the trick. A Dakhor monk would probably be somewhat harder to cut, but still pretty vulnerable.

If we go to this path as Invested Objects are harder to affect. An Inquisitor (but Better a natural Ferring) could protect himself physically with Metalminds (I ignore the Hemalurgical charge as It's really a low Investiture)

On the note (and It's was a question for Brandon). What wil happen to a Metalmind or Spike"s charge if hitted by a Shardblade? Would the charge be messed? In this case and Inquisitor would permanently lose efficiency suffering precise attacks to his Spikes

Most (though not all) Inquisitors have Feruchemical gold, so they could theoretically survive. However, their Feruchemical gold is weaker than normal due to hemalurgic decay, so it's rather unlikely they'd have enough reserves. They might be able to heal one hit, but they'd run out fast.
