Rage
My question is basically, if you wrote for example: "Hello" using chalk. Would some parts of the word become lines of forbiddence or would it be treated as a chalkling?Or would nothing happen?

It has been said in-world that nothing happens when a Rithmatist writes with chalk. Intent is the driving force here. See the new Rithmatic lines, they don't work until you know what they do, and are actively trying to make it happen.

AnonymousFan
What if you wrote hello and intended it to do something?
KevinTheHerdazian
then it would do something. the lines of forbiddance wouldn't be that tall but your lines of warding would be pretty good. that would be a good strategy in a duel, distract your opponent becase they'll stop for a split second to read it. maybe not huge, but for when you need a little delay or distraction so a teammate can hit hard.
