Uilos Posted February 8, 2016 Report Share Posted February 8, 2016 It's kinda clear that Ruin has had his eye on Vin since she was very young (the earring). Having someone like Reen as your brother, protector, and mentor would have been a good way to connect her to Ruin without much effort on Ruin's part. When Reen left/was taken, I'd be willing to suspect that quite a few of those thoughts had Ruin's hand behind them. After all, you have to first establish in her mind the fact that she is hearing quotes from Reen, which would only work if the voice is saying things Reen actually said. When an actual conversation happens and she doesn't notice or if the voice starts ad libbing, that would definitely be Ruin. Unless he is that good of an actor.
