Delightful
I plan to have the next installment of Memes of Radiance up tomorrow (I finished the last 10 percent all in one go, but there was a lot there, so I'm planning on at least four installments) but first, an unforgivably bad joke based on something Renarin said in the denouement. I don't get it?Also at some point I had a dream I got banned from the shard for posting too often........so yeah, that happened.

So the bar, in this case, is a literal metal rod. The Windrunner, Lightweaver, and Bondsmith all walked into it. The Truthwatcher didn't. As TwiLyght stated, it's a bad joke.

Popular Post TwiLyghtSansSparkles
This time, in Memes of Radiance…. Kaladin watches Bridge Four leave with Dalinar's army, more depressed than ever. Hearing his plight, Lopen gives him some advice for how to patch things up with Syl. Meanwhile, Dalinar gathers his forces and is greeted by quite the surprise. Sadeas watches from a distance, talking strategy with Ialai. Aladar, one of Sadeas' biggest supporters, joins Dalinar. Distraught over his past crimes, Aladar expresses uncertainty as to whether or not he's really suited for this task. Dalinar reassures him. Kaladin watches Shallan and Adolin flirt from a distance. Dalinar brings Amaram over to Kaladin, under the pretense of putting Kaladin's allegations to rest. Far from being repentant, Amaram holds that he really and truly made the right decision. Later on in their journey, Navani approaches Shallan in her carriage. And Moash approaches Kaladin to let him know the assassination plot is moving forward. Dalinar shares some of his frustrations regarding his visions with Shallan—namely, his calling to re-found the Knights Radiant. "Perhaps you weren't called to re-found them," Shallan says. "Perhaps your task was simply to gather them." Not ten minutes later, reports of strange Parshendi reach the warcamp. A quick inspection of the corpse tells Shallan exactly what they're dealing with. But that is far from the biggest surprise the day has to offer.

With all the suggestions for Mistborn, I'll almost certainly do that, unless someone has a world-shattering, logicspren-attracting argument otherwise.

Mistborn's probably the most logical choice, since you'll have a trilogy and then Alloy, and by the time you're done with those Shadows of Self should be out as well.

I'd actually prefer Memebreaker, personally. Think of all the awesome memes we would get about Memesong the Brave! Though I'll enjoy anything Twi chooses to do next.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles
Have you already read Mistborn? Or can we expect some genuine reactions from you? I think she said somewhere that she has only read tFE? I'm pretty sure. . . I've only read The Final Empire, but that was over a year ago. So while certain scenes stick out in my memory, rereading would be a refresher.

Wait, you're dying?! Can not think of a suitably cheesy punchline, so think about tye-dye shirts or something, I don't know, what do you people expect from me! *sob* Edited August 19, 2015 by Orlion

I'm excited for Mistborn: The Final Meme (and sequels), but I don't know what Twi's reading time is like currently. If she would prefer to do a less-weighty project in the interim, I'd also enjoy the Cosmeme works Memes for Silence, The Emperor's Meme, or Memes of the Dusk. Popular Post TwiLyghtSansSparkles
This time, in Memes of Radiance…. (which is apparently a cult now?) Dalinar and the other highprinces talk strategy, having abandoned all hope of a serious talk when they invited Sebarial. Back at the warcamp, Kaladin is enduring the Weeping without Tien. Elhokar surprises him with a visit, in what has to be his best idea yet. (The guy in this picture had a much better idea, by the way. ) To no one's surprise, Kaladin is honest. Back on the Shattered Plains, Dalinar readies his generals for battle. Everyone receives an impassioned speech—except for Sebarial. At the warcamp, Kaladin happens upon Zahel, who gives him the best advice he could ask for. On the Plains, the Parshendi begin to sing. No one, least of all Dalinar and Rlain, appreciate it. And Kaladin realizes something. As Shallan and the other scholars draw frantically, hoping to find the Oathgate, Inadara accidentally gives Pattern a chance to practice his insults. In the heat of battle, Dalinar hears the voice from his visions. It…doesn't exactly bring good news. Meanwhile, Kaladin approaches the guards outside Elhokar's rooms. He reaches the king—but it appears he's too late. Dalinar's question of the Almighty brings a surprising answer. Since that isn't very helpful, he shifts his focus to Navani. Kaladin successfully rouses the king…. ….but he's too late.

Popular Post The Honor Spren
As you may recall, (or not) I begged volunteered to do Alcatraz versus The Meming Librarians. Here it is: Our author, who is apparently not Brandon Sanderson, gives us a moving introduction to this magical tale: He introduces himself to us, And we find out his name is Alcatraz and that he doesn't like the name at all. Apparently, this whole thing started when he received his inheritance on his 13th birthday. He is quite skilled at breaking things, in fact we get to see an example of it right now! Because he burned down the kitchen, his foster parents called up his caseworker. Her wardrobe really needs some work. The next morning, someone claiming to be his grandfather shows up. He missed Alcatraz's birthday. Alcatraz goes all philosophical on us when he wonders if this man really is his grandfather. The man tells us some shocking news about Alcatraz's inheritance: Alcatraz tells him about his talent. and Grandpa Smedry is impressed We then get the author telling us not to feel bad for him. Seriously, don't. And then. . .shocking cliffhanger! That's all for part one of ten! Edited August 26, 2015 by The Honor Spren
