Fingers stained by the horizon, he painted.

Vermilion to his viridian, she died.

Soft lips appease the aching blue,

yet hope faded in marbled greys.

Red is the dying and loving.

Meat and milk on his bones.

He wanders pastel stained and sorry,

cried, "I am my father's son."

"I will always be sorry, love."
