Allomancy
If anyone needs a book to read, I'd recommend Eragon or Magyk.
Echo
Is this to recommend books? In that case, The Skinjacker Trilogy and I am Not a Serial Killer. Both are darker stories, and they have really good wrap-ups, plus I am Not a Serial Killer definitely has some good foreshadowing. Bort
Eragon wasn't all bad. It wasn't great either, but it wasn't all bad. If you want something good to read, may I suggest the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb?
-Deleted-
I've been doing a thorough re-read of Against the Day and will do so with the rest of Pynchon's novels. Against the Day and Mason & Dixon are both amazing, absolute masterpieces and are probably both examples of what you can do when you have mastered the art of story scope. They are absolutely genius, and there's nothing like these two books out there.
