WeiryWriter
So we now have the release date and cover art for Brandon's newest novella, Pefect State (that "matrix but happier" story he read from during the Firefight tour). According to Amazon.com it will be released on March 31st!
Kobold King
...Is that guy wielding magic and a sword against a giant robot? Oh, storms yes. I didn't even know this book existed, and now it's one of my most eagerly anticipated Sanderson works.
A Joe in the Bush
I got to hear a reading of it, and it's awesome. And I love that Cover.
HK-42
Have we heard anything about whether this is a cosmere novella or not? I'm guessing it isn't, since the last two covers specified that they were cosmere novellas below the title. bookspren
Yes, yes, yes! My day just got so much better! And we only have to wait 10 days for it. Mr. Sanderson, you are amazing.

Kobold King
It is not cosmere. I'm not disbelieving you--I trust your authority 100%--but out of curiosity, where did he say that? I can't seem to find any official word one way or the other about it.

I know it's been mentioned somewhere, but it was as an off-hand reference, not really sure where.
WeiryWriter
Okay double posting. Since I was unable to find the source I asked Peter about it on twitter. It is not cosmere.
GreyPilgrim
I'm sad, because I want this to be cosmere a bit too badly. Imagine Knights Radiant fighting giant robots! Or Mistborn!
Argent
Huh, I thought it was Cosmere for some reason. Still, awesome cover, and it's out soon!
GreyPilgrim
I am sort of bothered/frustrated by this cover's looking so much like those of the individual releases for SfSitFoH and Sixth of the Dusk. It seemed like Brandon was setting a look/tone for individual, uncategorized cosmere releases, but now that this has taken the same style that precedent has been lost. But this is the kind of trivial thing only a true Sandersonian would be bothered by.
Leafs
Anyone know if this is getting a hard copy release?
WeiryWriter
Anyone know if this is getting a hard copy release? It is, sort of. Brandon's con exclusive for this year is a hardcover of this and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell. After the con season is over it should be added to Brandon's online store.

That might just be me though. As for the images themselves, it would be nice to get a cover image in which the main color isn't purple/blue. If the image itself is what you were referring to, I kind of agree.
