Okay, so I did search through the forum to see if anyone had made this topic and I didn't see any post like this so hopefully there's no problem with this. So within Oathbringer, we find out that humans are the original Voidbringers, yeah? And its part of Vorin belief that the Voidbringers kicked the humans out of the Tranquiline Halls. So basing this on the concept that humans came to Roshar from Ashyn (I'm not sure if this is canon fact, or merely speculation?), but that would mean that Ashyn was the Tranquiline Halls - and this makes even more sense with the confirmation that Braize is Damnation.

In a re-read of Oathbringer, I discovered the following little quote, from Moash' POV: What this strongly suggests, to me, is that Moash at least knows how to see Damnation and the Tranquiline Halls in the sky. The two phrases aren't generic, like our human description of the Heavens; they are specific places which are distinct from each other and can be seen. We're pretty much certain Braize is Damnation, and also another planet in the Greater Roshar system. This means that somebody who knows what they are doing could spot it on a clear night (when the geometry is right), just as easily as one of us could spot Mars or Venus. Presumably the same could be said about Ashyn. This strikes me as an indication of a couple of things: 1) At least some of the Rosharan humans were originally from Ashyn. This is not a surprise, nor is it something I would seriously contest, but this is another point in favor of it. The Tranquiline halls were (are) Ashyn. 2) At least some people on Roshar know this, to some extent. It's not at all clear how much of the astronomy they've managed to put together, but it sounds like they have at least a couple of strong hints. I'm not completely sure about this, because I vaguely remember some comments about the Tranquiline Halls becoming Damnation, but it's easy to see the elements mixing in various ways. I don't think it rules out at least some people remembering that they were separate places, and even where they would appear in the sky.

Braize is the third planet from the system's sun know as Damnation. Roshar, which exists in between the Halls and Damnation is second planet. Is Ashyn Tranquiline Halls? the first planet?

I was originally going to post this post: So, in the past, Brandon has stated that he wants each of his series to be able to stand alone, so that someone who hasn't read all of his other books, and isn't aware of the cosmere can still enjoy them. At least until the space mistborn that is. My question is: how do you guys think he's going to be able to do that with Vasher and Nightblood now on Roshar? So far, there hasn't been much in the Stormlight Archive that hints at other planets. How would he be able to write it so that the explanation of who those two are is satisfying? As I was thinking about this though, I came up with a crazy aluminum foil theory. What if Nalthis is the Tranquiline Halls? It would be such an easy explanation. When asked, they'd just say, 'I'm from the Tranquiline Halls." Vasher is very old, maybe he was alive when humans migrated to Roshar. Maybe he was the one who figured out how to do it. There is a WoB out there that says he world hopped when he was younger. Or, instead of Vasher leading people to Roshar, maybe humans were a 'house warming gift' from Endowment to Honor and Cultivation when they arrived on Roshar. Endowment is all about giving gifts. Either way, it would explain why Vasher would have known to go to Roshar, and why stormlight can fuel being a Returned. The Rosharians are descendants of the people of Nalthis. Their SDNA is still close enough that the magics work supper well together. Brandon has said that Nalthis and Roshar have more conection than we think, maybe this is it? Anyway, just some crazy ideas I had. Let me know what you guys think.
