I know you want a Steelhunt code. I want one too! And, well, to make sure everyone in this wonderful community of ours gets on (so that we can stop trying to police the topics) we were able to get a code from Team Sanderson. Oh yeah, and it's an unused code. So the first person to find it gets to claim that glory too. However, just giving you that code is not what they wanted us to do. Brandon wants these things to be a bit hidden. So, you get to do a scavenger hunt around the site (and parts of the site) to get your answer. A couple of quick rules. First, do not BREATH a word about this to anyone outside of the site. If this code is used too much it will be shut down. Also, keep it fair. No just giving the code away to anyone. Really though, you just want to see the good. To do so, you'll need to make sure you stay on TOP of the news, from anywhere. I'm a new member, and just stumbled on the Shardhunt. I hate it. I hate it so much, I could cry. And I can't stop. Please, is there a support group for those of us that just can't get it?

It has been about a month and a half since the most recent Shardhunt unlockable (the Emperor's Soul prologue) was released. Brandon's site says there are still 15 codes left until the final item is unlocked. He has one event in about a week, and then none after that until July, so I'm kind of concerned about the Shardhunt. This is really mostly aimed at Peter, but does anyone know if the fact that not everything has been released yet is due to Brandon not having given out enough codes yet or if they are all out and there are people who simply haven't uploaded them (which really annoys me if so). I just need my Sanderson fix! And don't want to wait until the summer for more.

As far as I can tell, the Steelhunt listed at the top of the site isn't working. When I click on the link, it takes me to a plaintext page at http://www.17thshard.com/hunt/. That page says to use "my name" as the first clue. I assume that means Brandon Sanderson. I've tried http://www.17thshard.com/hunt/brandonsanderson.html and several other variations, such as http://www.17thshard.com/hunt/brandon.html but it always just takes me to an error page. I'm very frustrated because I just wasted about forty minutes trying to figure out what the first clue is, but I think the problem must actually be an issue with the site. Am I correct in thinking that one of the above two URLs should work? If the hunt is down, there should be an error message saying so, or the link should be removed.

So, I am relatively new to this site, and have NO IDEA where to go or what do for clue number 8 on the Shardhunt. I feel really bad, cuz noone else has asked for help on this... But I got over my pride, and here I am. Any help, please?
