So I didn't find a current thread for this series, and it's too bad because I think it's a really good one! So, what do you think of it? Did you watch the HBO series? What did you think of it? And did you know that season 3 is coming out in two months?

Hi, Sharders! So, ever since the Knight Radiants Order Quiz came out and we got to know a little bit more about the specific traits related to each order I've been compulsivelly trying to sort every one of my favorite charachters from books, movies, TV series, anime or mangas, games and so on.... But it turns out I'm in quite a pickle in a couple of chases, cause I'm just can decide wich order fits them best. That's when I said to myself "Hey everybody in the 17th seems to be pretty good at super-annalizing this kind of subject, let's ask them" So I would like this to be a thread where anybody could propose a charachter ( any charachter from any format of entertainment) and everybody who knows about the charachter here on the Shard ( we all seem to have pretty good taste, after all we all love BS) can go ahead and say wich order they think would be a better fit and why? To start, I'll just propose a fantasy classic I think most people know Harry Potter, so I'll ask for him, Hermione and Ron; but if you are a fan feel free to speculate on any of the charachters. And to get more in topic I'll bring up ASoIaF, wich is sort of a personal favorite. Is anybody there even KR material?, maybe the Starks( Jon, Arya, Sansa.. Ned is definitively the embodyment of honor)

I've come to a decision as a side project while I get ready to start university in September, to create my own adaptation of The Wheel of Time series as if the showrunners of Game of Thrones, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff decided to make it into a TV series for HBO. Of course, this would mean that GOT probably wouldn't have happen in this but obviously this is just a bit of fun for me and hopefully for you guys, who I hope will read the scripts etc. I'm currently working on the first episode, which is entitled "Winternight", and I've pretty much cast the entire first season, with a couple of characters as well as some characters that'll turn up in future seasons. The first season is based on 'The Eye of the World'. Here is the list for the cast of Season 1, if you're interested: (SIDE NOTE: I understand that a lot of these actors are from GOT, but I can really imagine them as the characters. Following Harriet's statement that a new studio has acquired the right for The wheel of time, what are your thoughts on the matter? Should they try to make it happen or the sheer length of the books in addition to the short time the story takes to conclude (3 years) just make the project impossible? They could go for an animated version though I'm not sure if that would work either. At least that way we won't have actors aging beyond the age of their roles.

This isn't a poll for how many people have read a series, it's about what your favourite is. And you can't say "I prefer the Stormlight Archive", unless you've actually read Mistborn. 3) I've split up Mistborn Alloy Era and Mistborn Original Trilogy, because I've found them to be quite different. 4) I'm not placing WoT on this poll, because I still consider it, fundamentally, to be a Robert Jordan series. 5) I trust you guys more than this point might imply. Hey, what release schedule will the Stormlight Archive have? I heard it's a ten book series split in two? Will each book Take 4 years to come out? Just to clarify i'm not complaining i just want to know the rough estimate of how long it will take me to read the full series haha... Absolutely love it
