Hi, I've been a fan of the Cosmere since I read the Way of kings at the end of 2016. Of course my plans for 2017 were completely changed by a need to compulsively read everything Cosmere i could put my hands on. Since then i had keep up to date bookwise, and heard the 17th shard podcast every now and then, when i get the cravings XD. I made this account for asking an specific and weird question, so i will proceed to the forums.

Hi everyone! My name is Ethan I just joined the 17th shard yesterday. So far I have read the first Mistborn era and all 4 Stormlight Archives. I've tried and tried to get my friends to read the Cosmere books with no success yet. This has brought me here. There is way to much to discuss to have nobody to discuss it with! Warbreaker should be delivered to my house before the day is over so please no spoilers there!

Hello my name is Alfadios, having finished Rhythm of War and then discovering discussions through Daniel Greene and then the 17th Shard Youtube PodcastsI finally have found my way here. I have been a Sanderson Fan since 2015, when I discovered Way of Kings and it blew my away, so I went into the whole Cosmere spiel and loved it since(Mistborn, Elantris, Warbreaker). I personally can't get my friends to read the books unfortunately, but I want to share my excitement/worries/theories somewhere, as well as maybe get to know more good stuff to read. So here I am ! Also a bit about me, I'm 30, male, from Germany, speak fluent German(duh) and English. I love reading(Hah, who would have guessed that), gaming, watching entertaining stuff and just listening to music. Also according to the Radiant quiz I'm an Elsecaller(No matter how many times I take it). I hope I can find a place here. I also am new to forums and more used to chilling on discord with friends. Howdy, folks! Just joining up after hearing Brandon mention the site at a recent signing. I started out in the Fantasy world with C. S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia (in 6th grade), moving on to J. R. R. Tolkien and the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings (high school freshman year), moving then to Terry Brooks and Shannara and Landover (the rest of high school), then to Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time (senior year of high school, when Crown of Swords came out in paperback, until the end), which naturally introduced me to Brandon's work while I was in college. Now look at me, several years later, with a wonderful, large family, a steady career of a dozen years (seriously--I'm guessing a lot of us here are computer nerds), and even though I've branched out into non-fiction research topics, I still love to come home to some good ol' fantasy to relax at the end of the day. Or any time during the day, like while walking to work, or taking a break from work, or during lunch break at work... Honestly, I'd rather just read all day.
