Any Doctor Who fans out there, or am I the only one? If so, who's you favorite Doctor and why? Who's your favorite companion and why? What's your favorite story arc? My favorite Doctor is 11. (Matt Smith) Because he's always playful until something serious happens. Then the gloves come off and he's a total boss. My favorite companion is Rory. Just because he's so awesome. He's nice, caring and patient. (Need I remind you of the two thousand years he spent guarding Amy as a plastic Roman Centurion?) He may not be a huge manly man, but he is brave and does whatever it takes to protect Amy. My favorite story arc is probably The end of season five. You know, with the whole "Pandorica Opens" thing. That was pretty great. Although Blink, the 50th Anniversary (can't remember the actual title at the moment) and the Day of the Doctor are pretty great too!

Hey guys. So I recently made what I thought would be just a lame joke post on the Stormlight Archive Facebook group, but to my surprise it pretty much went viral in terms of liked. So I can’t resist posting it here too; please don’t think I’m TOO much of a nerd. Here’s how the confrontation between Hoid and Odium would go: "Can you hear them? All these people who’ve lived in terror of you and your hatred. All these people who have devoted themselves, sacrificed themselves against you... can you hear their defiance? Oh, you like to think you're a god, but you're not a god, you're just a parasite eaten out with jealousy and envy and longing for the lives of others - you feed on them! On the memories of guilt and loss and fear and death and pain and sorrow, so... so, come on then. Take mine. Take my pain! But I hope you have a big appetite, because I have lived a long life and I have seen a few things. I walked away from the the last great Shattering. I marked the passing of Adonalsium. I saw the birth of the Cosmere and I watched as time ran out, moment by moment until nothing remained - no humans, no spren, just me! I walked on worlds where the laws of magic were devised by the mind of a mad Shard! I’ve watched Shardworlds freeze and creations burn! I have seen things you wouldn't believe! I have lost things you will never understand! And I know things: secrets that must never be told, knowledge that must never be spoken! Knowledge that will make parasite Shards blaze! So come ooooonnn then! Take it! Take it all! Have it! You have it all!!!" *Odium implodes* The end. Oh come on, someone had to do it someday. lol.

Who else is super excited for the new doctor? This topic can have spoilers for season 10!

So this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, "The Time of the Doctor" just aired on BBC America. This also is a benchmark episode in being the last episode of the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith. This is a major episode and thus this topic WILL have spoilers. I L-O-V-E-D this episode. It has a way of getting at your heartstrings in one moment then making you laugh hysterically the next (or is that just me?). It wrapped up arcs and questions that have been around for YEARS. The cameo at the end was fantastic and just about made me cry. What did you, other Sandersonian Whovians, think?
