In Shadows of Self, Wax asks Bleeder who she is. Bleeder says that she is the surgeon. We know that Era 2 happens after SA 1-5. Is it possible that either Kaladin or Lirin are in someway connected to Bleeder? Maybe they were killed and became a spike for her? I don’t have any evidence, I just want to hear people’s thoughts and see where this goes.

I was browsing another thread and realized that by the time era 4 rolls around sazed will be pretty corrupted, and at the time he already struggles to balance his shards. Maybe he becomes the final villain, championing scadrial’s progress at the cost of the other planets and forcing the forming of an interplanetary coalition to defend the universe from the scadrians? Thoughts?

In Chapter 84 (pp. 812-813 ) Kaladin "saves" Elohkar's son Gavinor as he is being molested by a group of Voidspren. Specifically, Syll transforms into a dagger which Kaladin uses to kill one of the Spren in the physical realm. While this act in of itself is interesting, I noticed during a re-read that this aligns somewhat with the Chapter 57 Death Rattle in Way of Kings. “I hold the suckling child in my hands, a knife at his throat, and know that all who live wish me to let the blade slip. Spill its blood upon the ground, over my hands, and with it gain us further breath to draw.” The connection is seemingly obvious; Gavinor is an infant and Kaladin is wielding a knife. Could this event be foreshadowing Gavinor's role as being an agent of/corrupted by Odium in the second pentalogy or is it just another one of Sanderson's red herrings?

Probably not, but we Mistborn need not make sense. It's beneath us. But seriously. Vin doesn't seem like the type to just sit down and talk to some random noble, even if said noble is J.R.R. Tolkien in disguise. Soother, maybe? Or, better yet, Mistborn...

The War of Vengance is World War 1, kinda!
Surgebound Rainspren posted a topic in Stormlight Archive
So I was thinking and I found some similarities between the War of vengeance and World War One. 1. Both started when a major political leader was assassinated and the blame was given to a party that wasn't entirely responsible. 2. Both lasted close to six years 3. Both would have ended much earlier if the groups working "together" had unified from the beginning 4. Both caused the construction of more and more powerful weapons. 5. Rumors where spread through each army that their opponent was running low on resources and manpower. Does anyone disagree or have any more reasons they are similar.- 2 replies
