  1. Good afternoon again, so on this topic I wanted to know what kind of creative names Lerasium Alloys may have. Also if this topic does contain spoilers, I apologize in advance. I do not know how to work my way around. If I remember correctly from other forums and such, Lerasium Alloys practically gives the ability of the metal it's alloyed with, example, a Lerasium-Steel alloy would create a powerful Coinshot. Personally a creative name I have for a Lerasium-Pewter alloy is Pyolasium. What are some names y'all guys would give? Assuming of course, they aren't already named. Please excuse my ill-informed self.
  2. Okay, so while looking through the Mistborn Adventure gamebook, I noticed that Malatium, (The Atium alloy of Gold) is an external, pushing metal. The opposite of gold, which is an internal, pulling metal. This seems to me that any Atium alloy of a metal flips the internal-external & pulling-pushing dichotomy. While it makes sense that malatium, being an external metal, would allow one to see another's past, it doesn't explain as to why it is a pushing metal. Pushing & Pulling, relating to the allomantic table, doesn't make a whole ton of sense when you get to the Enhancement and Temporal Metals. Iron & Steel is the external, pushing, and pulling metals makes perfect sense, but why is copper an internal metal when it creates a cloud outside your own body? I understand that Bronze and Zinc are external metals, but the pushing / pulling dichotomy doesn't really boil down very well. Internal vs. External makes plenty of sense. External metals affect the world around you (Steelpushing, Ironpulling, Leeching, Nicrobursting, Sliders & Pulsers, and Rioters and Soothers) while internal metals only affect you. (Tin, Pewter, Aluminum, Duralumin, Gold, Electrum, Copper, and Bronze.) Copper is the only odd one out here. It may just be me who dosen't understand this disparity between pushing and pulling, and there isn't a whole lot that is said about it on the Coppermind aside from this quote from Kelsier when he was teaching Vin allomancy: " There are two metals for every power. One Pushes, one Pulls--the second is usually an alloy of the first. For emotions--the external mental powers--you Pull with zinc and Push with brass. You just used pewter to Push your body. That's one of the internal physical powers." This all makes sense, but why does Malatium change from a pulling metal (being gold) to a pushing metal? Isn't the distinction between Internal and External enough? For reference, here are the pages that I got from the Mistborn adventure book. Since this seems to be the case, at least with Malatium, I wonder what this knowledge of a metal being alloyed with atium flipping the internal-external, pushing-pulling dichotomy would do? Would an Atium-steel alloy do? It would turn it into an Internal, pulling metal. Perhaps allowing one to push outwards from another individual like some form of altruistic steel? What about the temporal metals? Bendalloy would go from an external-pushing metal to an internal-pulling metal. Perhaps allowing one to speed up the time within one's own body? Speeding up healing processes? Theoretically, an Atium-Bendalloy alloy might work like an allomantic version of feruchemical gold, distilled health allowing one to speed up one's own natural healing process, similar to pewter. An Atium-Cadmium alloy might allow one to slow down the processes within one's own body, possibly preventing aging or the spread of poison, disease, or slowing down one's own heart rate to halt bloodflow from a wound. Anyway, I think I've rambled on enough. Let me know what you think!

    Lerasium Alloys

So if a misting, say tin, burned a lerasium-pewter alloy, would their sDNA get completely rewritten so they're just a pewter misting, or would it overlap, creating HoA Spook sans Ruin? Since lerasium can be burned by anyone, I suppose the alloys can too.
  4. So, I believe I have an idea that may break Feruchemistry and Allomancy. What if Wax stored a lot of weight into his iron metalminds, then had them forged into steel, which he then burns? Would he Compound weight? Or would it be turned somehow into speed, making him a de facto Steelrunner? Would the Invested metalminds retain their Invested status at all?
  5. We don't know much about Atium and Lerasium. Theory states that if someone who is already Mistborn burns Lerasium, it will have a different effect. Also, there are supposed to be unknown alloys of both metals that may, in theory, work for a Mistborn, like Malatium. Thoughts?
  6. This theory is based off the Shardic Lens Theory. Restated briefly, the Power of Creation is a source of Light. Each of the 16 Shards is viewed as a Lens that can access this light and allow it to enter the Cosmere. When the Power passes through a Shard, it is distorted based on the Intent, creating 16 "colors" of Light. A human must have a piece of a Shard and use a physical Focus to access the Powers of Creation. One of my questions deals with the Power of a Shard and the Power of Creation. Are they the same thing? Could they be related? I am not sure, but for this theory I make an assumption that they are two different things. (The theory could also be reworked assuming they are the same, but subtle differences arise as a result) So assuming the Power of Creation is separate from the Shard itself, each Shard acts sort of like a Sun, radiating the Power of Creation into the Cosmere, but altering the Power in the process. That Light can be harnessed and used by any of the other Shards to accomplish their goals. I believe the metals of Scadrial form a link to one of the 16 Shards and allow access to one "color" of Light. Alloys may allow you to blend and combine various colors. This Light is then used as fuel. Under typical use, Allomancy would not change the total amount of Power that Preservation controls since the source of energy is the Power of Creation, filtered through the various Shards, then accessed through a Focus. You can also fuel Allomancy directly with the body of any Shard. We have seen that happen with the Well of Ascension, the Mists and Lerasium. Using these as fuel will directly access the Power of Preservation, temporarily dispersing his power and weakening the shard. The end effect of allomancy will be related in some way to the Intent that shaped the Power's color. Many of us have been puzzled by the correlation between Atium and Electrum. Used allomantically, they both reveal shadows of the future and have virtually the same effect. But electrum shows your own shadow while atium shows the shadows of others. I suggest that they are both directly related to the Intent of Ruin. Electrum is a physical focus that forms a link to Ruin, allowing access to black colored Light. Atium allows you to access Ruin's Power directly. Both forms of Power are shaped by the Intent of Ruin and will have similar effects when used allomantically. Expanding on this idea, could all of the metals have a corresponding shard? The only other God-Metal we know about is Lerasium, and it seems to be capable of altering a person's Identity to Attune them perfectly with Preservation. There is a feruchemical power that stores Identity. I suggest that Aluminium is the Metal that accesses white Light from Preservation. Used allomantically, aluminium alters the Identity of the other metals in the user, destroying them instantly. I suggest that a trained allomancer could control how Aluminum changes the metals instead of just destroying them.
