  1. Singing Hamilton is done (mostly) and I’m bored, so here we go again. GOOD NEWS SHE’S DEAD
  2. I don’t think there is another thread for this so I created it. I’m sick and tired of screaming musical songs to myself. One that has been stuck in my head recently is from Mean Girls. Please try to stick with musical songs so that the theatre kids can sing. If there is a strongly inappropriate line please either put it in a spoiler with a warning, censor it, or create your own variation! Also try and put song lyrics into italics. Censor curses or slurs with **** or a replacement word like: Storming When the song is completed then the next person can begin the next song stating which song it is and the first lyric or line. @Edema Rue @Lotus Blossom@Kajsa :) @Robin Sedai @Thaidakar the Ghostblood @Just-A-Stick (I couldn’t think of anyone else at the moment, just tag them if they like musicals) Song: Where Do You Belong? From: Mean Girls the Musical My momma used to tell me
  3. Hi everyone! I've been working on a project to set the poetry and songs of the Wheel of Time to music. I have a number of pieces written and I can sing some of the parts, but I don't have anybody to play with. I've attached the only setting I have recorded: Mat's "Color of Trust" (from Lord of Chaos) which is sung by me, with my father on guitar. Are there any musically inclined fans (especially in the Seattle area) who are interested in getting together to play them together? Let me know if you're interested and what you sing/play, and we can plan from there :-) P.S. I know this might be better in the Wheel of Time forum, but I'm not restricting myself to Wheel of Time fans. Color of Trust - Voice/Guitar Wind that Shakes the Willow - Voice/Piano Forward the Lion - Voice/Piano As Long as the Wheel Turns - Voice/Piano Tia mi aven - 6 voice round Wash the Spears - 4 voice round Life is a Dream - 3 voices Soft the Winds - 3 voices Color of Trust.mp3
  4. Who saw Into the Woods? Who loved it as much as I did? Who is on the other side of the opinions, hating it instead of loving it? Who is on the fence?
  5. Recently, after thinking about the lyrics of the Christmas song "Jingle Bells" I payed specific attention to one line: "Oh what fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight!" And so I thought, "Hey! SING A SLAYING SONG tonight! The Parshendi sing while they kill!" And so I sought the opportunity to make a parody of this classic Christmas song. Here was the result: Parhsendi Plateau Assault Written by ChullRider To the tune of "Jingle Bells" Sang by the Parshendi ---------- Dashing on Plateaus Preparing to slay O'er the Plains we go Killing all the way! Singing Creepily Making Spirits Grim What fun it is to run And sing a Slaying song to them! --Chorus-- O! Alethi! Alethi! Please prepare to DIE! Oh what fun it is to kill all of the Ale----THI! Alethi! Alethi! Please prepare to DIE! O, what fun it is to kill all the Alethi! ----------- And unlike "Jingle Bells," this one isn't festive, so you can sing it year-round! Happy caroling! ~ChullRider
