  1. That deathrattle obviously refers to Moash and Elhokar, go read the title of the chapter where Dalinar tells Kal about Roshone.
  2. This is idiotic. To glue things together you need to touch them together. Kaladin would have to drop Syl , wrestle Szeth hundreds of meters down to the ground while getting cut at with an Honorblade, and stick him to the ground. It's not cool, it's not a viable combat tactic, and it doesn't serve any purpose other than satisfy your weird fetish with using EVERY SINGLE skill in every battle.
  3. He's going to come flying in, light blazing in his eyes, wielding a Shardblade, wearing a Cobalt Guard uniform, waving a big fat letter of release around. I think he'll be good.
  4. Look, I know the book talks about a stormwall, but it isn't a giant brick wall that rages across the land. It's a wall of wind, and you can't glue people to wind.
  5. You're reading far too much into this. Secret societies explain every single thing that's weird about Gavilar, that black sphere wasn't a Grindr orb.
  6. Just because Szeth can summon it doesn't mean it's bonded. He gives that blade away and it's gone, can't summon it back.
  7. I doubt it, it seems the Recreance was the only mass betrayal of oaths. Syl was bonded before after all and she turned out fine. The Diagram seems to say that the Desolations are timed on the Heralds, Taln breaking is what sets it off.
  8. A trait considered by the Vorin church to be of voidbringers. In reality it's also a trait of Cultivation and to some extent of Honor.
  9. He didn't play to the emotions, he played to the political landscape. He considered, alliances, fueds, family ties, power bases and a whole lot more and made an educated guess that cutting of Jah Keved's head would result in multiple powerful factions that would destroy each other in vying for the throne.
  10. Remember, the smarter he is the less empathy he has. He knows his solution is best for the city, but he can't understand that people just aren't going to kill themselves.
  11. Death is not breaking the oaths, it's just death. Syl has been bonded before and she's doing just fine now.
  12. Hoid drinking some metal. Swordsmaster that talks in weird proverbs. One sentence from Nightblood. Obviously it's not the actual references themselves, considering how incredibly minor they are. You just have a problem with the very concept of an overarching universe.
  13. Let's not forget that this was Szeth's first skyduel as well.
