Ah yeah. For some reason, I thought that the Red Rip/Scar may have been in one of the already-known systems. Seems very far removed from the other Shardworlds so that's interesting too.

I have the same questions but gosh, Cosmere fiction can change a whole lot of things. I mean, Cosmere has literal magic so survivability within a gas giant could be a legitimate possibility. Wish I could jump about fifteen years into the future to where some of these questions might be answered. Speaking of, I really wonder... you know how Harry Potter had books published that contained SOLELY theories? I wonder if the Cosmere will have some of those eventually.

Regarding that constellation chart, do we know why the constellations have images (like the knight with sword, a female face, etc)? Are they the Cosmere constellations? (like we have a bull for Taurus, that kind of thing) And stupid question that I'm sure I know but can't recall right now: what is the Scar? Kinda surprised to see Sel and Nalthis so (relatively) close.

Definitely nothing like that on my Kindle. I'd love if one of you could scan the pages, if at all possible.

What do y'all mean by endsheet and constellations? Is there some extra map page that I'm missing somehow?

Bavadin is a male. I'm interested to see who controls Autonomy now. I was surprised when I saw the 'she'. That was more meant to explain where Ati/Leras got their inspiration for human life-forms since they created Scadrial, and then created life on the planet in the form of humans.

I wonder what crazy stuff Szeth will get up to since he's falling further and further into the abyss.

Maybe because Khriss seems to give out information freely, and doesn't seem to have an overt goal like 17th Shard does (in this instance, finding Hoid.)

Honestly I was really bummed when it was said that the star charts would be Cognitive Realm charts so I'm really excited that it seems to still be an actual star chart, although not a galaxy chart.

Since Scadrial is an artificial planet, are any of the other Shardworlds artificial? Are there any cosmic entities similar in importance that are artificial? Stars, etc.

Being a trade hardcover, I don't think it will get a paperback release. Pretty sure that's not how it works regarding comics.

Well yeah. I'd say the God Beyond itself is one of the biggest mysteries in the Cosmere.

I can't find the exact part right now (read it last night) but there is a bit where a phrase is repeated twice, something like "to return to return" in the middle of a sentence.

I think it's for the best. Sure, personal opinion and all, I don't really mind the comic itself. I think some aspects could have been a bit better but it was... okay/decent. The art was fine although the transitioning between some scenes felt a bit out-of-place, and while I was slightly disappointed with not learning a whole lot, it would have been the same as any first third of a new Cosmere story. However, the main reason that this being turned into a comic is a good thing is that we actually get the story. As someone who is aggravated by the constant pushing-back and hiatuses of the planned Warbreaker sequel and the rest of the Elantris series, I'm glad we're getting White Sand at all.

I like the duality between Sand Mastery making them God's eternal adversaries. I reckon it's fitting that becoming Autonomous, the resulting magic is an 'affront' to Autonomy. I noticed the Kertzians becoming "Warrior-Priests" for who knows what reason which reminded me of Elantris and I'm also noticing a disappointing trend with several main male leads being against authority as a trait. I really hope many male leads do not begin being written the same way, like how many major female characters are the same. Also it's the first part of a new Cosmere story so it's natural to expect little-to-nothing to happen until the ending bit--in this case, volume 3, sadly.

Not at all. It's an observation. Being overweight is not healthy and I am legitimately worried as to the continued health of one who plans to complete a ~30 year series.

From what we know, Nightblood is a superior Shardblade. Much, much stronger.

Personally, I define magic in the Cosmere world as "manipulation of Investiture". Like if magic existed in the real world, it would be a manipulation (or outright breaking the laws) of physics.

I'm about 99.9% certain (only because I don't have the WoB on-hand then again I have none on-hand) but Khriss being the author is relatively old news.

I don't read excerpts or go out of my way to find out information about them so it doesn't bother me personally. However, what does moderately bug me is when there is a reading that is meant to be confined to the persons attending, or if some information is accidentally slipped then the person is told to not repeat it to anyone but these basic events will still be discussed. If they're not meant to be talked about outside of X event, then don't bring them up. It comes off as pointless gloating then people generally act confused and irritated when they're asked to reveal what they're not supposed to reveal.

I meant moreso as in the forming of a crush itself, sorry. I used to think that crushes were a teenage thing, restrained to the likes of a typical youthful mind. Then last year, at 25, I crushed hard for several months on a friend that I had met maybe two months previously and had little interaction with. And of course, woke up one day and it was gone, just like that.

That is fairly accurate although you can see it in other countries depending on the sport. I'm American and our major sports have insane followings. To go even further, college handegg (American football) is obsessed upon, especially down here in the South. I personally think the adoration and praise placed upon professional sports is unsettling. But then none of this compares to the effect that something like actual real football globally. I mean, look at World Cups.
