  1. Hi, That's great! Yea I'm sure you'd pick it up just fine, I will be learning the language from scratch as well, so no worries. If you could drop me a PM, maybe we could get you linked to all the planning pages and I could give you some more info? Excited to have you join the team -Fanta
  2. @Prince Dusty Yea I'd love it if you would! Couldn't tell you when it would be yet, but yea I will get in contact when it's ready! Haha I'm glad -Fanta
  3. Haha wow I'm so so happy that people are interested in this! @Mistspren, Thats so cool! Haha yes circles have to be practiced- Melody would know that all too well. Thank you very much for the feedback! I agree for the game-modes, Competitive would be the main game-mode, with The Tower being sort of like training/Practice realms, but both needed to keep interest! I thought maybe if there was a player-base,in the distant future, a patch could be brought out that was a 'push' from the wild chalklings; they are harder to beat but give more reward or something; reward is something that must be worked out. @Prince Dusty, interesting you should mention the chalklings, as its what we've been discussing only yesterday! I think for our first version, it will be a pick-from-a-drop-down-list basis. Once this is up and running, we'd work on maybe having an area where users could add their own chalklings to that list - but then we'd have to work out how to 'rank' them; strength, attack etc. Maybe, in the far future, players could even draw new chalklings while in game; very far future though! About the tracing; I hadn't thought of that! That is an absolutely awesome idea thank you very much! If we decide to implement it, your name will go in the design credits . Haha yes the coding will be the most difficult, but if you want you could still be involved in testing it out for us when we have a working version? No worries if you wouldn't be interested/ don't have time. Thank you once again to everyone for all the enthusiasm! -Fanta
  4. Haha thanks, I hope it will be good! Only in planning stages at the moment, but when finished, of course its for everyone. So far it will have two modes; PVE- 'The Tower' fighting Wild Chalklings on the front lines PVP- 'Competitive' duelling... Whats your view? Is it worth doing both, or would competitive be more popular? Opinions are always useful My chalklings are Rhino-looking-(ish), but with clubbed tail(s) like a type of dinosaur that I cannot remember the name of. However, sometimes they turn out more like fat sheep.. oh well, they're good at absorbing hits! What about your chalklings? And your favourite type of defense? -Fanta
  5. Thank you, I feel very welcomed! Thank you also for the offer of the Penguin, I will have to consider before deciding if I will take you up on it I would say my chosen rithmatic defense is either the Jordan or Ballintain, as I am a fan of drawing chalklings and am very proud of them!
  6. Thank you! Was very much needed. I have learnt the way now, and will not accept the cookie but thank you very much for the offer.
  7. darn I just gave away my soul didn't I? Oh well, beginners mistake I guess I deserved it for being so gullible
  8. My life to yours, my breath become yours.. I'm not sure how to show that I mean it, but I do
  9. Hiya, I'm just following what it told me to do! Fan of Mistborn and Stormlight Archive books, as well as Scribbler (or The Rithmatist idk), came here looking for clues as to the existence of the second book, The Aztlanian. Then found that you guys are awesome so I'm staying. Fellow Rithmatist fans, I'm building an App for Rithmatic Duels, feel free to message if you want in, always looking for more hands! Bye for now!
  10. Hello there, I just made an account here so I could reply to you then realised how long ago you posted this.. Are you still interested in building this? I am attempting building an app (unfortunately not a VR studio), and looking for people to be part of the team. Artistic skill and programming extensive knowledge not necessarily needed, just some excitement from people that know the books and the Rithmatist world in general! Even if you wouldn't like to be in design, someone who could test would be appreciated. I'm really happy to have found someone else who thought of the same project, I've also been playing Rithmatists on paper with my Siblings This is open to anyone on the forum. If you'd be in, just drop a reply! Many Thanks, Fantagio101
