  1. Always vaguely thought they were some kind of Human - Honor Spren Hybrid? I think there is a WOB that indicates there may have been human/spren relationships in the past. I could be wrong about the WOB. Really like your theory though!
  2. Doesn’t Endowment “splinter herself” with the creation of each divine breath? Are said breaths not “Splinters of Endowment”? To me this says that splintering especially the self inflicted variety may not be as detrimental to the shard or the vessel as being splintered by an external force. Endowment is still keeping up with her correspondence for instance and seems aware of Hoid’s activities on Nalthis, which implies the splintering wasn’t grievously debilitating. Have said all that I am aware there is some speculation about the mental state of Endowment, so maybe they are the exception not the rule.
  3. Just a quick thought, if you look at the Delver page on the Coppermind. There’s some history that implies the Delvers didn’t care about the physical world, and Cytonics didn’t draw their attention back in the D.E. Era. I know humans and the PC we’re pretty new to cytonics, but other species had been using them for some time already. So what changed? Maybe someone managed to summon or even kill one? I actually think this is pretty unlikely, but I notice the connections between Detritus and Delvers and it got me wondering. Why weren’t the Varvax and the Tenasi, already powerful cytonic users, worried about the Delvers or Eyes before?
  4. Ok I hear you, and sorry I'm not really a forum poster so I'm probably bad at this. but we have seen splinters of a shard reshape individual humans, altering their level of investiture and their spiritual DNA/S-Webb drastically. on Nalthis each returned has a divine breath which is a splinter of endowments power used to alter or create a sentient biochromantic being out of a corpse. Clarification the returned might not be "dead dead" kinda like when wax "died" and spoke with harmony in bands. could splinters of odium not be used in a similar fashion to create powerful Spren from humans? I chose this comparison because these are both shards that are splintered intentionally themselves, but maintain a sentient active bearer- unlike shards splintered by odium. -cheers
  5. Long time leader first theory post I have a theory about the origin of the unmade and the heralds. I think he unmade we're humans at one point "unmade" into powerful evil Spre when the midnight mother is defeated shallan get the impression she was trying to understand something she lost. In symmetry I believe the Heralds may have been Spren "Made" human which is why they are so dedicated to their ideals. Just a gut feeling
