  1. And thus draining more investiture making the bubble dissappear faster. Your forcing all these interactions to happen as your running rather than waiting for them. I could see it depleting a bubble within seconds
  2. We've only seen small glimpses of fused using 'surges', not enough of the different surges to make clear determination either way. I don't think it's enough to infer that what they are doing is exactly the same as our radiants surgebinding. I'd need to double check but wasn't there something odd about the floating fused? Personally I think that the different spren the fused bond with are only able to provide one surge at a time but 'surge' is from the voidbinding chart. I think as the story unfolds we are going to see the difference between each of the 'surges' on the voidbinding chart and the surgebinding one.
  3. I never implied morality was involved in surge/void binding, I was framing it in the context of goid/bad in the story
  4. If the fused aren't void binding then what is the point in that magic system being in the book if it isn't to be used by the main protagonists. Why would they have the bad guys and the good guys using normal surgebinding but the entire 'evil' surgebinding system that our big bad guy created, to only be used by one good guy renarin. It makes far more sense to me to suggest renarin is void binding with only one of his surges due to his corrupted spren and that the fused are also limited to one surge from the void binding chart (why its limited to one I couldn't possibly assume myself) I think we're going to find out that every void binding surge from the chart is going to have unintended powers and side effects we don't know yet
  5. There are glimmers on your theory I quite like, especially the idea of dom/dev becoming relevant In the fight against odium and autonomy. The problem is there is slim to none evidence for any strong position one way or another when it comes to unite them. I really hope sanderson makes this phrase have something to do with uniting shards against odium.
  6. Yeah I think this one needs to die as well, I hope more people don't waste future brandon questions with this.
  7. Storms yeah, thats pretty awsome then. My only question would be did she swear her fourth ideal during the book? I assume she needed her third ideal for the blade in the chasm with kaladin and her chapters didn't mention anything about summoning plate, would it have been after the chasm being flooded?
  8. Wait, there was a WOB that confirmed shallen has said her 4th ideal? You don't happen to have a link do you? It adds a ton more sense to the scenes with Radiant, wasn't there a scene where someone sees Radiant as the real shallan?
  9. Would the fact that atium isn't produces any more by harmony not hinder allomancers? They seem far less op without atium
  10. I always thought 'unite them' was the remnants of something (adonalsium) speaking from the spiritual realm to influence dalinar to unite the rest of the shards to defeat odium as he could be the end of everything Edit: I could also see something catastrophic happening in the time skip like odium getting free, hence his possible influence in scadrial in era 2
  11. I can't be the only person who would occasionally like a This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules* or This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules thrown in the dialogue once in a while, even the most extroverted characters could benefit from the occasional hard swear, id imagine a word like either of those two would be universal (no names of gods or anything like that)
  12. So it's possible mishram was a cryptic before odium corrupted it/made it into an unmade?
