  1. @Steeldancer Lets change this conversation. How could the Lord Ruler be beaten? I dont know enough about the Dustbringers to know if that would work.
  2. Seriously. Does the word ATIUM mean anything. The Lord Ruler would be untouchable, able to see every attack. So, we have established that the Lord Ruler cannot be hit. If he somehow was hit, he could heal from anything, with the possible exception of the Shardblade cutting through his spine. But, he can't be hit, being a near equal in speed and able to see the FUTURE, comprehend any attack with zinc. Not to mention the god-like abilities of burning atium with duralumin, which would allow the Lord Ruler to know the outcome of the fight before it even began. Vin killed him by being EXTREMELY lucky. With A- Duralumin, A/F Iron, A/F Steel, and A/F pewter alone, he would be the steeldancers equal. But with Atium, it isn't even a fight.
  3. and F- Gold can heal Shardblade injuries. Plus, with atium, and superspeed, how are you even supposed to hit him. The Steeldancers best hope would be to run
  4. No. The Lord Ruler is the LORD RULER. He is practically a god, in fact he was considered a god. The steeldancer would live longer than most, due to his superspeed preventing instant death by atium burning, steel tapping to get up close, and tapping pewter and iron for a death punch. But, atium is near unbeatable. The Steeldancer would be outpushed by an iron tapping Lord Ruler, outmuscled by pewter everything, and just in general demolished. I think the steeldancer could beat several inquisitors, but not the Lord Ruler.
  5. I know gold covers Spiritual, (various WoB about Shardblades and Hemalurgy) and Physical, so it would make sense if gold healed Mental as well.
  6. Probably right, Fullborn are awesome. Sorry for my awful misspelling of dual.
  7. Gold would take care of any mental, physical, or Spiritual damage. Unfortunately, this would probably mean you could not become a savant.
  8. What would the equivalent of a fullborn be on Roshar, that is my question. A Radiant duel wielding honorblades in addition to his own powers? I don't even think that would match a Fullborn for sheer power. Any other ideas?
  9. This is directly contradicted by what occurred on Threnody. "These broken chunks of power twisted every planet in the system, including Threnody and its people. Ambition fled the system, pursued by Odium." (Coppermind) Perhaps this implies that the other Splinterings were different from that of Ambition, who fought before presumably succumbing somewhere in the Cosmere. If the three people of god like power are having a war, I think humanity would notice, and end up involved.
  10. Really though, all this depends on what your definition of Evil is.
  11. But Odium hates EVERYTHING. So he wants destruction to remove the objects of hate. Rayse also wants power, so he directs that hate at the Shards.
  12. No one is truly evil, just as no one is one hundred percent good either. But I do get your point, about Odium being the only really evil thing in the Cosmere.
