  1. Granted, but you will derive no fun from RPGs I wish for Shalash's honorblade
  2. Sel may be a derivative of sycla, the name of the continent fjordell is located on. This is probably a stretch, but weird things happen when words are put into other languages.
  3. There are splintered Shards. Ambition was literally splintered in space, so I think that if soulstone or Trellium is a god metal of a splintered shard, it would probably be Ambition. However, I personally think that Trellium is of Autonomy: impersonating a god is something Bavadin would do; Khriss has also stated that Bavadin is meddling on other worlds.
  4. Depending on the definition of worldhopper (they are if the definition is just 'anyone from another world') They may be Scadrians from the space opera era, but I don't know if this has been confirmed.
  5. That explains how physical allomancy would affect shardblades, but does not refer to burning them. If these items are made of god metal, and both atium and lerasium could be burned, would that not predicate "tanavastium" being allomanticaly active (or are the other metals only active because of the direct investiture of Ruin and Preservation in Scadrial)?
  6. As shadbaldes are made of metal (God Metal, actually), I assume that they can be burned by an allomancer. Does anyone know what this would do?
  7. Are the AU pictures to scale?
  8. More tenuous evidence for a Hoid troll: in Warbreaker, on can find the line Again, probably nothing, but not really shakier than my original claim.
  9. Breeze also mentions in The Hero of Ages This could be foreshadowing for a doom-force such as Odium which is more actively Evil than Ruin was, and it associates that hypothetical force with red.
  10. To the best of of our knowledge, those people are confused members of the in-cosmere seventeenth shard, and it may be referring to them. Mostly though, I find it interesting that the Forum is named after them at Brandon's request.
  11. So, this theory is fairly probably wrong, but it is possibly true and certainly interesting. This forum is called the Seventeenth Shard because Brandon said so, according to the post A welcome to 17th Shard, and the rules. As I was recently reading the first letter, I came across a line that says The author for this is probably Hoid, which leads me to believe perhaps some of the Hoid sightings in the book aren't actually Hoid. Again, I have no idea whether this has any grounding, but I enjoyed coming up with it.
  12. Salve! Have an upvote. Which order of the Knights Radiant would you join, given the chance?
  13. Salve! Don't eat the cookies. They interfere with your bendalloyminds (or they might just have chull shells in them)
  14. I would pick Surgebinding, Lightweaing in particular, just because I want to bond to a cryptic.
