  1. I agree about the dialogue- it feels rather wooden, and there's too much exposition. Seems interesting, although I know nothing about the biblical story behind it.
  2. Dude! I've heard the first part of this one, but those are some great extensions to it.
  3. @StrikerEZ I'm sorry you feel like that- though I tend to do similar. I know how you feel, and I hope you can find something to help you when you feel like this. There are a large number of helpful sites out there to help people deal with anxiety and depression, and I would advise you to try and find something that helps (I personally find sound washes very helpful). *hug*
  4. I assume you mean like a genuine old typewriter? That's really cool. Congratulations! And good luck!
  5. Right, okay. She, of course.
  6. Yellow, although two cookies can be sufficiently filling. Hm. Difficult to say- I may enjoy Roshar, although I'd rather not be in a war zone, and I wouldn't be able to eat spicy food! Scadrial would definitely be interesting, too. I don't watch much in the way of movies, although I do have a particular fondness for some of the older Agatha Christie movies (and older movies in general) and disney's always fun. I dunno. I like the idea of having an Axhound, although an Aviar would also be pretty cool and useful. A tricky question, but I'd say probably someone who can fight but also use strategy, so probably Kaladin or Jasnah, Pepsi, but I prefer ginger beer to both. Y'know what? Vin, and let her just flippin' destroy 'em. Tempted to say Shallan just for the joke, but practicality wins me over. Um...I feel like Marasi or Steris would fit in well. No, I don't really like olives. Honestly? I'm not sure. I used to absolutely adore reading mythology, but most of my favourite ones weren't 'heroes' so to speak. Man. You have really picked the right question here. I love lasagna, but I prefer a good home made mushroom and spinach one to meat ones. Are we counting webcomics? In that case, I honestly can't choose because I have too many characters I care about. And finally, a question for you. What prompted you to suddenly ask questions on my page, which I haven't used for ages?
  7. Nice one! We've got the last day of this term tomorrow and I'm hyped.
  8. Uh, I doubt @Jedal's competition was the same as mine, since mine was fairly local I think...
  9. 65. Always be suspicious of anyone who is unhelpful, but tries to pass it off as being funny (misplacing paperwork in funny circumstances, etc). 66. If you find out sensitive or plot-related information (eg the identity of a murderer or spy), write it all down. Multiple times. And send it to multiple trusted people, plus hiding it in several places. 67. Don't try to blackmail someone if you think they're a murderer, spy, or anything similar. They've probably already killed. You will be next.
  10. I won a writing competition (in the under 18's division)! Though I see I've been overtaken by Jedal...
  11. Doesn't capital punishment refer only to the death penalty, or am I missremembering? @SilverTiger I am so sorry you had to go through that, it sounds awful. Are you alright now?
  12. Nice one! Definitely understand the entire feeling terrified thing...
  13. Oh yes, there's a general thread for memes in General Brandon disscussion, called Sanderson Memes.
  14. As someone who lends books a lot, I feel you.
  15. Used a whole bunch in a story I wrote recently... What did one detective say to the other when they were going to investigate a concert? Maybe this will give us some performanswers! (sounds better aloud) Let's not beet around the bush. Beetween you and me... This is all rather corncerning. These all took such shallot of time to come up with.
  16. @Steeldancer congratulations! I hope it's as wonderful there as people seem to think it is!
  17. As someone who's wearing retainers, nice one. Meeting Brandon is also awesome.
  18. @Mulk that's awesome. Glad to hear everything's been going so well.
  19. Hugs for @Queen Elsa Steelheart and @Mulk. Sorry to hear about both your issues, they sound very frustrating.
  20. I saw a concert today! There was a few movements of a symphony, and a concerto. It was really nice. EDIT: I just realised where I posted this. This is what I get for opening things in tabs and not looking at the titles.
