I would love to have more books of mistborn!!!

Ever wondered how awesome an allomancy tournament would be between Mistborn...obviously its impossible for era 2 to have one but what about era 3( which is said to be a space opera) to have a tournament. With awesome characters that Sanderson is bound to create a tournament would a very fun setting. What are your thoughts and how should a tournament for mistborns be approached?

There are three types of Metallic Arts; Allomancy, Feruchemy and Hemalurgy. My question to you is, which one would you use in the following: Scadrial Era 1, Era 2 and Earth?

Throughout the cosmere he subtley influences characters but to what end, he's seen helping Kelsier, Vin and Wax, so he's not against Harmony, but probably isn't working for him. I haven't read War breaker or Elantris so I don't know much about the Shards there, but has he helped one of them there as well?

You're right but if you want to compare him to Harmony, I'd still see him as smarter. The way he the Lord Ruler used his power and intellect was much smarter compared to Harmony. If we look at Era 2, its quite evident that Harmony although not used to his power as a Shard yet still has difficulties and is need of Wax most of the time. The Lord Ruler had it for a limited time but still managed to quell most problems in Scadrial and took many years until there were real threats to him. If Kelsier made the Bands we'd have to assume he knows about storing identity and connection, meaning if he did he would've surely used it in some way against the Lord Ruler.

You have to realise that Allomancy back in TFE mostly came from inheritance, but because theres preservation in the people of Scadrial there is still a chance without inheritance but the way Brandon explains this makes it look like there's less than it actually is. In the AoL tho its even more as its evident that theres a lot of coin shots, however twinborn is not since you need both allomantic and feruchemical genes which usually don't work out together.

If we look throughout all the books of Mistborn, we see that the Lord Ruler really thought ahead. In Hero of ages we see that he plants storage caches for atium stashes and food, he expected the events of HoA to happen from the first book, he outwitted Ruin to an extent trapping him instead of letting him out. He also made the bands of mourning expecting Mistborn extinction in the second trilogy. If you look at it this way you can see that he planned a lot, expecting his death and so was ready for repercussions. He delayed Ruins release, for a sliver that's an impressive feat. These reasons lead me to believe that he's the most cunning and smartest person in Scadrial. Who do you think is the smartest person in Scadrial is?
