  1. Haven’t finished ROW yet. But I love Adolin. His capacity, his understanding, his military style and tactics. The way he get though to the honor Spren. It’s memorable. also side note! Listening to audible and hearing Michael Kramer narrate pattern for the first time in the series because it’s always his wife made me spit out my drink in the beginning of ROW because his voice he used for pattern is the same one he uses for Sadeas and for a quick 5 seconds I thought they somehow brought him back. Scared the hell out of me.
  2. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I am rereading wok and I realized that jasnah was made to expose her powers so MR.T could see her radiant powers in person. Which means he was willing to sacrifice his grand daughter for this purpose. Part of the reason he made the deal with odium was to save them in the first place. Also could be a early sign of Malatas powers and her timeline for joining the diagram. Been awhile since I read the other two so feel Greek to deconstruct the hell out of this.
  3. Ah nice find didn’t connect the two. Thou it is specifically shown that the two radiants are a windrunner and a stoneward. Maybe this did end up as a major event if the lake fortress was actually a sky breakers fortress because in the actual vision with feverstone keep when they show part of the recrecreance happening it’s again stonewards and windrunners giving up shards no other order is represented. Cause and effect maybe.
  4. Ah got them mixed up. It’s just noted as the Lake fortress vision on the coppermind. Still mentioned as fortress not an outpost. The Stormfather mentions that Honor wanted to share these visions with worthy people and that the visions all had things that were important for said worthy people.
  5. Definitely talked about as a fortress. Also mentioned to be of significant importance to the voidbringers but no one understands why. I don’t think it was just looked at for shards as the recreance has not happened yet they would still have forms of power so shards at that point would not be priority. Also if you look at the part about the unmades spy and the thunderclast helping it get away by creating a distraction something more is definitely going on here. Like to point out as well that two thunderclasts have been killed so far in the series and both of them didn’t go up against a full knight radiant. Both the radiants shown had squires appearing in the end of the vison to attack the thunderclast. It has no chance of survival. Speculation of course. Thus pointing out again thou that a mighty voidbringer sacrificed itself for a tiny spren. the fused expressing its disgust so openly to a voidspren for talking to much like a human in OB shows us that they view voidspren at a lower tier compared to the higher forms of power. I just think this will have some very serious implications later on.
  6. Listening to the audio book and realized something important. In Dalinar’s vision of feverstone keep out on what he says is the pure lake they are looking for ;Sja-anat’s spy complete with entire squads of men each with a Knight radiant. Storm father explains to dalinar that the visions shown are important points in history for one reason or another. Notably the Spren they chase in the vision gets away after they discover it brought a escort they stop chasing the smaller one and get ready to fight the thunderclast. Now here is my own assumptions. I get the feeling that they don’t have a unlimited amount of giant stone creatures just hanging around. So for one to be here when the knight radiants of old have mentioned that the voidbringers have a unhealthy interest in feverstone keep makes me think this is some kinda turning point or some very useful information that the voidbringers were willing to allocate valuable resources to. Also having it implied that Sja-anat was in charge by saying it was her spy. Also dalinar assesses the state of equipment he is wearing and notes that it’s from a certain time period of history but some kingdoms still use the same arch type armor just replaced with steel to inspire there troops. If we had more info on exactly what regions , kingdoms used this type of ancestral armor we could probably pin point better where feverstone keep is hidden. Pure lake is a good place to start i guess but we all know that Brandon Sanderson is a master of misdirection and red flags. See Mistborn series Terris homeland.
  7. Opening of WoR, Jasnah runs into dark ink like shapes with one of them having a regal like bearing. If I am not mistaken this is ivory testing her. She mentions that ivory was an outcast even among his own spren but he has a regal bearing and a scholar like mind. Think it’s mentioned in OB. I missed this in my first rereads and it only made sense when I was listening to the audio book. Oh also the grouped up eyes that she has felt on her for months was the ink spren watching her to see if she was fit to be bonded. Just like when Sly sees her sisters watching the squire bridgemen training.
  8. I believe Shallan has spoken a powerful lie. She seems worse at lieing when she is around Adolin.
  9. Argent quick and to the point. Old post i know but wanted to say that i think The Ardent Dova fits your description of Vedeledev. She is in mr. Ts deathroom they send orders to her when he takes the kingship of jah keved
  10. I do not have exact quotes but he is a high marshall with sadeas dead would that not make him high prince ? All of a sudden Dalinar cant imprision him without risking open war.
  11. Supposedly it was the breaking of their oaths not much to do with physical handling of there gear. Screams are of dead Spren being wielded by people who are my of the ideas or oaths of the kR. At least I am almost 100% on that.
  12. WOR chapter veil's Lesson Mraize talking to his henchmen"you will bring these pages to Master Thaidakar. We are close, but so-it-appears-are Restares's cronies" "No im not worried about that one . the old fool sows chaos, but does not reach for the power offered by opportunity. He hides in his insignificant city, listening to its songs , thinking he plays in world events. He has no idea. His is not the position of the hunter.(death rattles being the song, Taravangian being the old fool)This creature in Tukar, however is different. I'm not convinced he is human. If he is , hes certainly not of the local species..." Only thing of note that has been mentioned in Tukar is the Eighty year war between them and Emul the Dawn city Sesemalex Dar and only person/creature has been God-Priest Tezim.
  13. its all theory i read the same thing you read. only thing was there is this theory about the heralds being twisted versions of there former selves and the things they stand for. just did some copper mind site reading on those country's and thought it would be a good fit for him as his described regal bearing. thou other reference made in WOR would be shallans POV chapter veil's lesson. again most of this is opinion based on what we know some it from those countries that have only 2-3 pages in all of storm light archive so far. also i am 100% certain that God-Priest Tezim will be a character of importance as the fact that he draws someone as powerful as Mraize's worry at whatever it is Tezim is doing compared to talking about how Mraize is not worried about Taravangian.
  14. Okay so i am very new to the forum but i have a theory, was rereading WOR and came across Mraize talking about being worried about this God Priest Tezim and that he might not be altogether human... I feel like this points toward him being a herald as they mention what he does some stuff that cant be explained knowing how everyone believes that the KR were myths like the void bringers. Pointing out that Emul,Tukar, and Marat were once a unified kingdom of the Silver kingdoms called Makabakam. Emul focus on Jezrien being the one and only god not of the heralds and they are fighting Tukar in a the eighties war for either a religious conflict or more likely the control of one of the very few known Dawn cities Sesemalex Dar. Now my theory, I realize that the God-priest Tezim is the leader of Tukar not Emul who worship him as the only god my reasoning for this is that if Jezrien really is the God-priest Tezim he wouldn't not want to be known to the Emul to reveal himself a herald that mixed with the yet unknown importance of what a dawn-city is and what secrets it could hide. They mention that they were important in some way or another i personally think they might have some special weapon or some such hidden in them. Every time they are mentioned in the books they are of completely different design and seem to server special purpose not just that they are fought over the world over like in Jah keved as well. could be related to the yet unknown "Dawn shards" that Honor mentions in Dalinar's vision. I think that is why Tezim has pushed for war to reclaim that city and also stay unknown to the Emul people who worship him who most likely would be able to guess from his features who he really was. (going out on a limb there) This all theorized on the "twisted Herald theory" about sense they broke the Oath Pact everything they stand for like say Nalan and the sky breakers justice twisting it for there own ends. Also remarks about them getting worse in the prologue of WOR. just some ideas they do mention that Jezrien had a presence kind like Gavilar Kholin. that kingly bearing and all that would make sense that he could make a entire nation fall under his sway. Thus if proven accounting for another one of the Ten heralds and supporting the Twisted Herald theory. Feel free to pick this apart. Also if this has been done before im sorry i did not search for another thread was just writing down my thoughts.
