  1. What the title says. Do we know if there will be an Ars Arcanum at the back of White Sand 3?
  2. I'm not sure I agree that the radio comment means Harmony is seeing into the future. It could just be a good understanding of physics, and the knowledge that they have all the pieces and haven't put them together yet. Like maybe they have Maxwell's equations but haven't made the jump to waves.
  3. You can also get Mistborn Prime by emailing him. (At least I did.) Not Final Empire Prime though.
  4. Of course he wouldn't intentionally. My point was that if he "desired" the marriage to happen before he found out they were sending Siri, they might be legally married, even if neither of them know it. The only way this would ever come up is if Nale wants something to use against Vivenna.
  5. I agree, but a lawyer might be able to make a case for it. With Nale you don't get a defense attorney.
  6. Siri wasn't originally supposed to marry Susebron. That was Vivenna. If Susebron at some point "desired" that Vivenna marry him, then she might legally be his wife under Hallandren law. (We have no information about polygamy or divorce in Hallandren.) That might cause her trouble when she tries to take a shardblade away from an order of Knights led by someone devoted to the law.
  7. Lift can turn food into investiture, and Siri uses food to regrow her hair. Nightblood likes her. (I don't blame him, but still.) Lift asked the Nightwatcher not to change. She complains at the end of Edgedancer that it didn't work, that she is changing. But, on the other hand, her wish seems to be fulfilled, since she's been 10 for three years. Maybe the Nightwatcher gave her a different boon, but because she thinks she shouldn't be changing, and because she's a Returned descendant, she still looks like a 10 year old. I apologize if this has already been proposed. I couldn't find it.
  8. ...and now I search for Mrall and get many results beyond this one. I'm confused.
  9. I'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out before. If I search for Mrall on the forums, or google "Mrall kandra", I get nothing. The "As you wish" line sounds very much like something TenSoon (pretending to be OreSeur) says to Vin at some point in Well of Ascension. I don't have the book in front of me though. Beyond that, the last paragraph looks like it's specifically drawing attention to Mrall's odd behavior, but setting it aside. There's a similar paragraph in Warbreaker, drawing attention to something that has significance beyond the story itself.
  10. Wait, you mean I can now get Final Empire Prime if I email again? That's very exciting! Thanks!
  11. I was able to get Mistborn Prime, I emailed through the contact form and Adam sent it to me. I didn't have to give any justification, it was the same as for White Sand and Aether. He didn't send Final Empire Prime, he said "Brandon’s assistant Adam here. Just wanted to let you know that Final Empire Prime is the same thing as Mistborn Prime." I'm not sure about this but I didn't want to argue, I assume he knows better than me...
  12. A black hole as the second sun is not scary, just dark. Gravitationally it behaves the same as a regular star unless you get too close (and by that point you would have been fried if it was a normal star).
  13. I didn't know that, thanks! My question might still be interesting though. It really boils down to "what metal is it the same as?" If the Investiture makes it look different, then this experiment might be the first time Scadirans find out that it's the same as some more common metal. Unfortunately lerasium can't be element 16. That would be sulfur, not a metal.
