  1. Hey peeps. I'm working on this interactive cosmere fan fic thingy and I need swear words. We've got the classic Rust and Ruin, Storm off, and other cosmere gems but I need more. I was wondering if we could get a list of cosmere cussing in the comments (alliteration mmm), and I was wondering if you guys have any ideas what people from Yolen would curse by. Adonalsium? Just looking for ideas. In secret history Preservation seems to swear by the name Senna (whoever/whatever that is). anyway, comment your curses and other ideas down below. Thanks!
  2. Night blood feeds off investiture, so either breaths or stormlight. If a person in full shardplate were to wield Nightblood for a bit, assuming they weren't capable of holding stormlight, would Nightblood feed off the investiture stored in the plate and once that is expended would he then kill the wielder? If Nightblood had access to an unlocked coppermind that was filled with information, would he be able to use the investitture inside of the coppermind? If so, would Nightblood absorb that information? I mean it would have to go somewhere wouldn't it?
  3. Haha. I know the reckoners are not cosmere. I do me homework, mates. Brandon has said they're not in the same universe, but her powers revolve around possibilities. What could be. My big issue with my "theory" (more of a discussion and what if topic really) is it follows the burden of proof fallacy. You cant prove it wrong, but i can't prove it right. I feel the thought I was trying to express was misconstrued. Titan Arum and WarriorExMachina were picking up what I was putting down. I just think that if she stretched REALLY far (i'm talking ridiculously far) she could find a dimension in which the cosmere was her universe. By this logic, you could in theory connect any universe to the reckoners. Her name shouldn't be firefight, it should be Crossover!
  4. Could Megans abilities be utilized to explore a multiverse that possibly includes the cosmere? Is there a limit to how far Megans abilities can go? I'm just spitballing here. thoughts?
  5. Total manipulation of matter. I can rip things apart at the atomic level. I would also be able to change the elements in already existing objects. I.E I could change the Carbon in peoples hearts to lead, or gold, or mercury. I can create complex constructions, it just takes a few milliseconds longer. I would also be able to change synapse fire in the brain by destroying certain synapses. Given time, and if I cared, I could influence the way someone would think. It also be able to create and heal tissue using my powers of matter manipulation Weakness: Being In San-Fransico with a man dressed as a taco doing the Harlem Shake between the hours of 2-8 A.M I would also have fore-site. With this i'd be aware of threats in the area, and able to set up a bubble of atomic destruction. anything that got close would be ripped apart. My issue would be apathy. I'd wonder around the southwestern U.S desert. I'd be too powerful to care, and think I'm above the petty issues of other epics. My name would either be "Gold Weaver" or "The Wanderer"
  6. My friend and I sat down one day, looked at themap of Roshar and thought "What the heck?". We decided to try and figure it out with our limited knowledge of geology and hopefully ask Sanderson about it later. Here it is. (ignore the arrows. They were supposed to indicate movement of plates into other plates) Fist I asked Isaac Stewart (The guy who made the map). He said he considers plate tectonics when he makes maps, but he wasn't entirely sure about this one. He also said he probably couldn't say and I should ask Brandon. So I asked Sanderson behind the scenes. He said he could see how the plate tectonics could work. Then paused. "Roshar was made very specifically by not necessarily natural means it looks the way it does for a certain reason. so no, there are not plate tectonics on Roshar." This was like six months ago and it was late, so the exact words are probably off. I do know for a fact he said there are not plate tectonics on Roshar. and I'm 97.7% I got his words about right on Roshar not being created naturally, I for sure got the meaning.
