  1. I'm quite new to the forums, but I read in coppermind (is that page canon?) that in Era 1, there are some koloss that were turned from Noble metalborn and that they would have kept their metalborn abilities since the spikes only transform the physical aspect, not the spiritweb. Only problem is that the koloss in Era 1 would most likely not remember how to use their allomancy.
  2. We all know that Era 2 will end on the fourth book. So, do any of you guys have any guess on what kind of character we'll get on Era 3? It would be really cool if we get a Koloss metalborn as the main character. Maybe not a fullborn, that would be too frightening but maybe it would even out the odds considering technology is already booming in Era 2. Even metalborn might not pose much danger when facing advanced tech. Having a Koloss who's not the brightest of the bunch or at least not as smart as the previous characters (Vin, Wax) might be fun for a change. What do you guys think?
  3. By now, we know it is possible to actually kill the Heralds and not just kill them through the use of a dagger from Odium's investiture and that Moash has been entrusted with it along with Jezrien's Honorblade. But it kind of strikes me as unusual that they only armed him with the honorblade after he has already murdered Jezrien. Is there any implication with him having it while he tried to kill the herald? I know that killing Jezrien is meant to be seen as more of a test of his loyalty/passion, but what if it wasn't an actual test but a requirement? What if they have a plan with Moash? One that might possibly involve killing all of the heralds and bonding with all of their honorblades? We already have a WoB that says a Radiant CAN bond with an honorblade, therefore giving him access to additional surges or making his surges a bit stronger if he has the honorblade of his own order. Can you imagine how powerful one man can become if he bonds with all ten of the honorblades? Wouldn't that make him the closest one to actually becoming Honor? What if this is Odium's plan for him all along? To have Moash gather all of the honorblades, then gather all of the splinters. Only now, he would become a twisted version of Honor, maybe Loyalty? Honoring his debt of gratitude from Odium? Seems to me that Moash's whole journey focuses about his revenge and lack of honor (betraying Kaladin). Is he fated to realize his mistakes and actually become the new shard of Honor? Not to mention also that the original Parshendi were also from Honor. What if they were working against Odium to restore their old god? What do you guys think?
  4. Thinking about it now, if David really did become an Epic, his only logical power would be Power Absorption. He was after all, able to use Prof's power even after he was turned. One more possible proof is that the last time Prof gifted him, he was also given healing powers, which was never done before if I remember correctly. Another one is that the forcefield was different from usual, it actually protected him for most of the fight with Obliteration when the normal forcefield would have been done after just a few hits (remember the chase in Steelheart?). Maybe the Absorption Power explains why he had a lot more of Profs power at that time. Because they weren't actually gifted, they were forcefully taken. As to why he didn't have the corruption even though he was using his powers. Remember after Calamity gave him his powers, he looked into the water, remembered his fear, and just set it aside. Meaning he faced his fear and overcame it at that instant. That's why he wasn't feeling any corruption. Anyone agree?
