  1. Mud brown. Guess who's binding a Spren tonight?
  2. Their definition of "morality", preexisting, written "morality", e.g the law, is far, far more different than the Windrunner's version or definition of morality, simply because of the way that their spren view it. Highspren are, as I have stated before, less focused on morality of what is morally correct and incorrect and more on the morality of law, which focuses on what is stated as right and what is stated as wrong; therefore the Skybreakers are a little more emotionless. Haven't you noticed how Darkness/Nale displays little to no emotion whatsoever? He does it in the name of law. The law is not moral unto itself; rather, it is a reinforcement of what other men perceive as morality. Their morality is almost literally etched in stone. Honorspren, however, focus entirely on pure, simplistic morality. The various Philosophies that Shallan researched after the encounter with the thugs in Kharbranth with Jasnah may reflect on that. They centered about whether or not what Jasnah did (legally defined as murder but morally defined as self-defense) is morally correct or not, and whether or not it is legal under the circumstances of self-defense and protection of other innocents that could potentially die because of it. I'll elaborate more later.
  3. So, if any of us here have read the Kane Chronicles, when magicians don't need certain things or need to store them somewhere, they store them in the Duat, which has multiple layers. When they need it, they can stick their hand in the Duat and get it out. When Shardblades are dismissed, they go to, somewhere, which I will assume that they are stored in the Cognitive Realm until summoned. When they are summoned, they are often described as having beads of condensation and water droplets along the blade. They're literally being "pulled out" of the Cognitive Realm. Could Shardblades be stored at the bottom of a Coginitive Ocean or some sort of vault that keeps everything cooled? How else would the condensation be there? Well, that's a tangent. In fact, the Duat is described as having several layers, which are: The Abyss The River of Night The Land of the Dead and The Land of Demons. In Realmatic Theory, there are multiple realms, the Physical, Spiritual, and Cognitive. If you look closely, they bear multiple similarities: They can both help you go from one place to another quickly. You can move in the Duat to another far-away location, by use of obelisks or pyramids. You can move around in Shadesmar, as Jasnah has shown in her use of Elsecalling, saying that she "walked through Shadesmar". You can store things in them, I presume. You can store items in the Duat, and probably can store items in Shadesmar for further retrieval as well. As I stated above, I'm presuming that's where Shardblades go. (The dead ones, at least.) They are both populated by a species or multiple species alien to humans. (Demons, Dead, Monsters, Spren.) They are both dangerous to travel around in. (Jasnah has hinted that travel in Shadesmar is extremely, extremely dangerous, and stated that even entering it was very dangerous. Carter and Sadie are attacked by monsters continually throughout their journey through there.) That's really all I can say.
  4. See here, Winrunners, who have bonded to Honorspren, are supposed to follow a moralistic life, with little or no regard to the law. The law is considered irrelevant to goodness. Whereas Skybreakers, who are bonded to Highspren, are supposed to follow a life devoted entirely to law, with little or no regard for morality. Quote Darkness: "Goodness is irrelevant". Lightweavers, who are bonded to Cryptics, are sort of strange. They respect the law, but don't follow it as fanatically as the Skybreakers do. On occasion, they will break it if it serves their needs. They aren't exactly the most moral, but they have a sense of morality, at least, and in regard of morality/lawfulness, they're sort of a cross between Skybreaker and Windunner temperaments.
  5. Kaladin's would probably be this one: The Piano Sonata No 14 Opus 27 Movement 3, because it's frenzied, frantic, and strikes hard. Like him with Stormlight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqSulR9Fymg
  6. “Can you feel it? Something just changed. I believe that’s the sound the world makes when it pisses itself.” -Hoid
  7. Well, the thing is, Spren and Seons, possibly even Skaze, are all Splinters of a Shard. Yes, they are not all from the same Shard, but seeing as how Spren from Honor can have a weapon and armor form, who's to say, given several hundred years, would Seonblades or Skazeplate become a thing on Sel? Eh?
  8. Odium's schedule: Wake up from Shardsleep. Brew a pot of Odiumspresso. Fly over Braize to my temple. Try to control Roshar's people from here. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Lunch. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Fly back home. Dinner. (Freshly caught and roasted spren, mmm.) Shardsleep.
  9. I kinda pictured Rock as like a massive red-haired, red-bearded, red-mustached, red-eyebrowed Scotsman with kilts and bagpipes and-- wait. Maybe not that. But the way he speaks, he sounds like a Russian in Scotsman attire.
  10. Dustbringers would be like the bomb defusal squadrons of the KR army. Windrunners as shock troopers, Lashing themselves towards large groupings of enemies and speaking an Oath or something, exploding with Stormlight and knocking the opposing side backwards. Edgedancers would be the ninjas/assassins/elite troops of the KR army, able to slide right through large groups of enemies, and stab them all with daggers or something as they go along. Lightweavers would act as illusionary masters, creating fake squads to distract the enemies while the real troops move in and flank them. Elsecallers would be like elite assassins, able to teleport behind enemies and stab them in the back, and then teleport away after.
