  1. I like her character but she makes me nervous. I also do not really believe she is a real Radiant at all, anyone who seriously suggest Genocide as a legitimate solution to a problem is no radiant in my opinion. .. she seems to be a mere surge-binder. (SHOCK!! omg your so wrong!!!) not really.... Think about what the first Ideal means for a bit then come back to me and tell me she follows it.
  2. I too am a Jasnah fan I like the fact that she is not afraid of anything and is willing to let people know. I also think there was more to that Kaladin Jasnah exchange than first meets the eye. I am very happy Kaladin has moved on from the mentally unstable, I think he and Jasnah compliment each other a lot better than Shallan does. Jasnah can learn empathy from Kaladin since she doesn't seem to have enough of it and I think she will learn the dangers of a brillant mind lacking compassion. Mean-while I think Kaladin can learn more about caring a little less from her. At the end of the scene if you look close she does give Kaladin a smile. For any other person that might as well be a passionate kiss. I have called it for years Jasnah and Kaladin are the perfect team.
  3. Anyone else getting the feeling that Cultivation is setting things up so that the ten main characters are going to end up being her heralds now and not just mere Radiants in order to renew the Oathpact. I mean she has taken a direct hand with two of them maybe even more. I also so think that the "immortal words" is not just a fancy name.
  4. I was thinking the people in the visions were kind of like Jor-el, Superman's father at the fortess of solitude.
  5. Looks like whatever has bonded a Voidspren. The Chasmfiend Kaladin killed was a voidbringer, the bonded Parshendi at the end of book 2 were voidbringers, and the Thunderclast in Dalinar's vision was one as well. I am just making an educated guess though but it seems to make the most sense considering how everybody and their mother claims different things as voidbringers. I do not believe the Midnight Essence's were though. Just my two sense anyway..
  6. They might be some sort of remnant, however I do not think they are the Stonewards if you remember in TWoK during the Feverstone Keep vision Dalinar saw the Day of Recreance and the Stonewards and Windrunners were the two orders represented in the vision.
  7. I would like some input from a few of you Sharders that have degrees in all things Sanderson if you dont mind. Since Dalinar is now able to control his visions and glean even more information out of them than in previous books, Could he not therefore interact with some of the radiants from them to gain all kinds of knowledge a little bit like time traveling? Something along the lines of, I know this is going to sound crazy but I am from the distant future and I need information? Or are we taking what he said in TWoK as gospel about getting the most information out of them by playing along. I guess the main problem would be two-fold first getting the Radiants from the past to believe he wasn't just a mad man. Second would be how much can those earlier Radiants and Noahadon tell him? Are they limited in their conversations to specific topics or could they technically talk about anything? Or are the visions like a coppermind from mistborn? Any help would be appreciated..
  8. No I dont think your seeing this wrong at all, in fact I think you are right on the money. Yes they were slaves but were not beaten all the time like their human counterparts.
  9. So my thoughts on what Mraize is up to. I think things are going to quickly come to a head. Mraize was probably going to blackmail Adolin or at least use it as leverage in order to gain control of another princedom. He seems to have control or at least a lot of influence with the sadeas camp. He has control of Shallan at least untill she grows a set and tells Dalinar and Adolin about the Ghostbloods. It would be nice if Adolin just threw the fact that he killed Sadeas in a fair contest in Ialai's face. I hope Shallan puts on her Radiant persona and severs both of Mraizes hands then remarks on how amusing its going to be watching him try to load his blow dart gun with two blade dead hands. But that last parts just wishful thinking though. But if she wont do it then maybe we will see Blackthorn Jr do it.
  10. I think the true definition of a Voidbringer is any type of creature that has bonded a voidspren. Just my thoughts on the subject anyway..
  11. Ah yeah your right I forgot about him.....i haven't been smoking crack i swear...
  12. I think I might literally go mad!! if this question isn't answered in Oathbringer... lol I just imagined an awesome scene at bookstore signing after Oathbringer comes out and the question isn't answered yet. Brandon saying RAFO , and then me putting him in a choke hold like Homer Simpson does Bart.. j/k
  13. I think the third one is "The Ancient of Stone" the Diagram mentions. "The Ancient of Stones must finally begin to crack It is a wonder that upon his will rested the prosperity and peace of a world for over four millennia"
  14. This is one of the better guesses I have seen on future oaths of windrunners. Have a thumbs up. A lot of people think the next two will be about leadership, however I have my doubts about that.
