  1. It seems Syl is telling us also when Honor and Cultivation arrived on Roshar with her comment about ten thousand years new. I could be mistaken but I don't believe we knew this already.
  2. I asked Brandon via email awhile back about the Listeners origin. Question: Knowing that you have already stated that the Listeners aren't originally of Odium or of Cultivation. Is it possible that they could actually originally be of what opposes Adonalsium? Answer: I'm going to have to RAFO your question; good question though.
  3. Pg 297 tWoK NOOK version "He’d had everything of his wife taken from him. All that remained was the hole, and filling it to gain a scribe seemed callous." Pg 357 tWoK NOOK version "It seemed a particular irony to him that his wife’s face had been erased from his mind, and yet he could remember in complete and intricate detail the months this woman had spent toying with him and Gavilar" From that it seems his curse was her being stripped completely from him and I would guess his boon was to forget the pain.
  4. He has also been dead for at least 2000 years. According to the letter in WoR Rayse hasn't killed another of the sixteen in millennia.
  5. When he says there is a hint in Elantris it is in response to the person asking for a hint as to how Hoid has worldhopped using Shadesmar. Thats how it came across to me when I just listened again.
  6. Listening to the audio for one of his WoR signing he says there is a very in your face hint on how he world hops through Shadesmar in his first cosmere book published. Could that be the pool the Elantrians would eventually disappear into?
  7. Someone posted several pages back that Brandon shot down the black hole idea when they asked about it.
  8. A very out there idea. What if the Listeners were originally created by the force that opposed Adonalsium. This force could have created them as an opposition to the Humans Adonalsium had on Yolen. Because of this Adonalsium put spren of his own on Roshar to influence the Listeners to counter what this opposing force was doing.
  9. We already know that Brandon RAFO'd a question about were the Heralds from/born on Roshar. We know at least Jezrien at one point wore a crown as a king before they became Heralds. My line of thinking on this and I don't believe this has been covered before is that all the Heralds are from Yolen. It makes sense at least in my head. The reasoning behind this is after Tanavast took up the Honor shard and arrived at Roshar and Odium began to cause trouble he formulated a plan. To fulfill this plan he asked these ten who he know of from Yolen to be strong very skilled leaders to be his Heralds. Which could very well explain the powers they are suspected of having that are granted by their Honorblades.
  10. Oh ok when I read Peter's post what I understood from it was that the specific knowledge to figure out the Easter Egg wasn't cosmere related.
  11. Poolboy I had actually stated this idea a few pages back but don't think anyone commented on it.
  12. The "not really Taln" could be that he came back insane because Tanavast/Honor is no longer around to protect the minds of the Heralds when they return from Damnation.
  13. If Roshar is meant to resemble a spiral galaxy could the different nations or even their capital cities be the different locations of planetary systems throughout the galaxy?
  14. It is clearly a crem coated Rainbow Shell waiting to be harvested for the making of a Rainbow sword and Rainbow armor to defeat Odium.
