  1. In Elantris, the primary curses seem to use the name of "Domi" in vain ("Idos Domi", "Merciful Domi", etc). Is that in reference to Dominion in some way?
  2. "Shardpool is a non-canon termused to describe a liquid essence of Shard. It is characterized by a Shard's Cognitive aspect." - coppermind.net/wiki/shardpool From what I can tell, for every Shard, there seems to be a Shardpool. I don't think I've seen a list, however, of the "known" Shardpools. Here's a list of Shardpools and their locations from what I can theorize. Feel free to give your thoughts and/or additions. Nalthis (Warbreaker) Shard: Endowment Shardpool: Beneath Hallandren? (Something to do with the Tears of Edgli?) Scadrial (Mistborn) Shards: Ruin, Preservation, [Harmony] Shardpools: Ruin: Dark lake beneath the Pits of Hathsin || Preservation: The Well of Ascension || Harmony: N/A (Not one of the original Shards, and relatively new) Sel (Elantris, The Emperor's Soul) Shards: Devotion, Dominion Shardpools: Devotion: The Lake (The Pool) || Dominion: Swamps of Dzhamar Roshar (The Stormlight Archives) Shards: Honor, Cultivation Shardpools: Honor: Emerald Pools (Horneater Peaks) || Cultivation: The Purelake
  3. That could suck for Dalinar (Bondsmith) and Renarin (Truthwatcher), who have opposing glyphs, if that's the case.
  4. 4 questions: 1. 2. The Letter states that, "Rayse, on the other hand, was among the most loathsome, crafty, and dangerous individuals I had ever met. He holds the most frightening and terrible of all the Shards...One need only look at the aftermath of his brief visit to Sel to see proof of what I say." Was Rayse the cause of the Reod on Sel that caused the chasm and the Incomplete Shaod? 3. Shallan is a Lightweaver, so has the surgebindings of Illumination and Transformation. Jasnah, as a Elsecaller, has Transformation and Transportation, allowing her to enter Shadesmar in the flesh. How was Shallan able to enter Shadesmar without the use of the Transportation Surge that Elsecallers and Willshapers have? Jasnah chided her for entering with only one sphere, so does that mean that anyone can enter Shadesmar, assuming they possess the requisite amount of Stormlight? 4. For Worldhoppers and Shards alike, how long does it take to travel from one world/planet to another? Is it a kind of space travel through the physical realm, or a more instantaneous travel via cognitive/spiritual realms?
  5. The chart that Issac Stewert created, showing the ten orders of Knights Radiant and the ten surges shows lines connecting the various glyphs. Below I have a picture with the lines highlighted in different colors: Green = Surges for each of the different orders Blue and Orange = A "racetrack" type of organization for Orders and Surges respectively - - (Although, I'm not sure. If that were the case why not keep all the Orders on the outside, and Surges on the inside? If it were rearranged that way it would look like a wheel with the red lines becoming the spokes.) Red = ...No idea. Decoration perhaps? Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  6. Maybe this will help. Here are a couple pictures that I created or edited to clear up the Orders and their Surges. Information was taken from the Ars Arcanum and Coppermind.
